The food was "so-so", the boy that brought the food out to us was nice and friendly and answered a question for me, BUT let me tell you about the lady that took our order. Her name is "Ashley" and at first she said that she couldn't understand me so I spoke louder so that she could hear and understand me, but after I finally finished telling her my first item i was basically yelling, my daughter and her friend were in the car with me and were embarrassed because of how loud I was just to order food. But every time that she would tell me that she couldn't hear me the tone in her voice would become more rude and hateful sounding. Then after I finally finished ordering I asked her what was all in your new paradise sunset drink and she didn't say anything to me, not a hold on let ne find out, it was just complete silence and then on my order a paradise sunset was added so I thought maybe she didn't hear what I asked her so again I basically yelled to her "no I don't want it, I'm just asking what flavors all came in it", and she still didn't say anything to me so I repeated myself again, and by this time I started to get annoyed but then all of a sudden with this hateful, rude attitude she said " I heard u and I had to add it to your order so that I could see what was all in it, but I can remove it as simple as pushing a button" and then she told me my total and ended the ordering with me. I seriously had to really stop and take a big deep breathe and stop myself from getting out of my vehicle and going over to the building and letting her know about what i thought about her customer service toward me. You all really need to either close this location on 86th street down or get your crap together and get food and a team who can give our community...

Update: 3-11-25, 10:14 PM. I pulled up and waited to order sat there for a couple minutes, no acknowledgment, one car in a stall, blonde woman came out gave them their food, saw me, went back inside, I waited another minute no answer pulled around to the window. I could see her standing there tapped on the glass she completely ignored me. This is unacceptable and very rude. I come here every night for my regular hot fudge sundae. Very disappointed, here we go again.
3yrs ago I sat at the drive-thru menu for nine minutes waiting to order. I asked if there was a problem with the speakers… I never received any kind of acknowledgment. Nothing. So I pulled up to the window to ask if there was a problem and was told it takes awhile before they can get to the drive-thru, then she closed the window and walked. I haven’t been to this sonic for over a year because last time I was here I waited over 40 minutes and never received food-I called them back and they had lost my order. So, I said never mind and I left. So, I’m waiting behind 2 vehicles right now. The same 2 vehicles for the last 38 minutes. I’m only staying so I can see how long it actually takes. The food is always fine, if the order is correct. I’m wondering if the guy ahead of me ordered 75 things. He just got his order-43 minutes of me waiting-it was a drink and a meal-that’s it! Let’s hope the next persons order is quicker. Why can’t Sonic park people like other restaurants?!? Why hold everyone up? There are at least 6 cars behind me-and several others left without food. I ordered a slush and a hamburger. I could have purchased the ingredients and drove home and prepared them by now. 48 minutes-person in front of me had 2 drinks and a small bag. My turn! They handed me a coupon for BOGO hamburger and one for .99* route 44 drink-for the long wait. Wow-2 coupons that cost me to use. I asked them what happened?
