Visited and test road some ebikes 2 weeks ago Saturday April 13th. Really like the discover 1 and called Bernie to tell him yes we would like to purchase 2. He had a shipment coming in that week and we should be good to go no problem. We asked would he like us to pay for them and he said no let's take care of that when you pick them up on April 20th exactly one week later. We had 3 different conversations with Bernie and we were good to go for Saturday pick up. We were getting 2 bikes with racks on the back as well as a car rack for the bikes. We got to the store to be told no bikes apparently another couple ordered the exact bikes and we were SOL it would be at least 2 weeks before possibly getting the bikes and that's questionable. No resolution was offered other than Bernie saying it's his fault. I'm not looking to pass blame what I'm looking for is the bikes that we tried to purchase. It's great you guys are busy but very poor business when you get sloppy because you are busy. We drove over 45 minutes to be told I'll do my best. Communication is so very important and we got none. Not once have we heard from this establishment to rectify Bernie's screw up. That in itself tells me customer service here is 0 stars for 0 contact. He called me on a Wednesday to tell me they were in along with a few accessories and a vehicle hitch rack. I told him we would be there on Saturday to pick them up. When we arrived on Saturday, he didn't know who we were and then said that he didn't have the bikes that we ordered, the same bikes that HE told us were in and ready for pick up. However, the bikes were sitting on the showroom floor and when I asked about them, he told me he had sold them to someone else. Now the mfg doesn't have any in stock and so we are out of luck. We drove 45 minutes one way to pick them up. I emailed the owner that evening hoping to get some answers as to what happened and as of 5 days later I have not heard a word from anyone. Hi Larry, I have owned the bike for only three months and the battery was getting impossible to lock back in. The level 2 needs to be locked with the key so you can ride it.There was a good chance of breaking the key trying to lock it. I asked the guy what would happen if I broke the key he said “ I “ would have to replace it with a new key and lock set. He told me I could leave it there, but it would take about two weeks to look at. Even though the store was not busy at all. He then turned and walked away.
