I ducked into the Lounge for a quick haircut Thursday afternoon, late afternoon. I stepped back in time. Although the barbers are two young men in their twenties, the pair have recreated the atmosphere of the classic barbershop. That's when barbers talked with their customers. In the other chair, the client talked house flipping, which seems to happen often in Owosso. I talked antiques and Owosso history with my barber. The shop has become a curiosity shop if not a tiny museum because the clients bring in old, interesting items to display in the glass front cabinets of the west wall. The barber had him participate in everything happening from brushing the cut hair off when it was bothering him to having him hold a small mirror so he could see what was going on. Any business that has the patience to deal with a potentially difficult child is a business worth...
