I guess I should give this 0 stars, but not sure that’s an option. I bought a Bosch 800 series combo of a dishwasher and refrigerator from the Black Friday sale (2024), as my GE Premiere dishwasher was unfixable and I wanted the two units to match, since they are right next to each other in my kitchen. I opted for black matte for them both.

The dishwasher was installed first, the installation of which cost me $200. When the refrigerator arrived a few days later, it did not match the dishwasher, but rather was gray. I sent it back without being installed after we had already moved my old refrigerator to the garage. I am told the following week that the model refrigerator I purchased does not come in black. In fact, I am told that Bosch does not make any black refrigerator to match the dishwasher I purchased.

I then explored trying to find another brand that would match the dishwasher. I am told the only option they have is a GE Cafe, which is considerably more expensive. I am further told that the hardware to match the Bosch dishwasher will be another $450, so I am now well over $1500 to switch from the top Bosch to a GE.

After I tell them to go ahead and place the order, which they said could take several weeks, I receive another call from the salesperson telling me the price he had given me was wrong since I had received a Black Friday rebate on the Bosch refrigerator that was not available on the GE. So now we were at around $2000 more just to get a comparable refrigerator.

Fairly disgusted at this point, I asked them about just taking the dishwasher away and wiping out the deal and I would start over elsewhere. I was told after they conferenced that they would do that, but when I asked about getting back my $200 for installing the dishwasher, I was told that was beyond their authority.

So to date, I am out of pocket for both the Bosch dishwasher and refrigerator and do not have any refrigerator in my kitchen for Christmas. I am really not sure what I am going to do, but none of this would have happened if the salesperson had a better understanding of what he was selling and that the pair of appliances he supposedly sold me did not exist. I had the BEST experience at the Cowboy Maloney’s store in Oxford! My washer had played out so I was in urgent need of one. Home Depot or Lowe’s couldn’t fulfill a request for one of the brands to get to me quick enough and some even on backorder. I had no idea this store sold washers until a friend told me so I have gave them a call and am I sure glad I did! A sweet lady named Lou assisted me and even let me know they keep some items on stock and another brand I was interested in could get the next day! I was in awe so I went to the store to visit. As I came through the door, a man named John greeted me. Immediately, he found Lou since I had been dealing with her. I was amazed that had so many models on the floor to look at. We settled on just a standard washer GE brand, and it’s doing a great job so far! It also is the QUICKEST washer I’ve ever owned! The best part they had one in stock and delivered the very NEXT DAY to us since it was closing when we made the purchase! I even received a sweet little gift as a token of appreciation! Talk about all around excellent customer service! Lou was amazing being patient with me as it had been 7 years since I had purchased a washer. She went above and beyond! Bought a refrigerator and they delivered it but didn’t have the tools to take the door off to get it in my house so they left it on the porch. Then we found it dented and scratched. Called them and they told us they would bring another, so no problem, things happen. Then the next day they brought another ‘new’ unit from another store. And it wasn’t in the box. And the interior was cold, so it was a floor model, and not new as promised. Then upon further inspection I see it has 2 different doors with 2 different door handles. They are the same color but not the same finish or handle style. . They pieced a machine together and tried to pass it off as new. I spoke to the manager and they promised to pick it up and refund our money, and I’m sure they will, but this should have been a very basic transaction that wound up turning into a lie.
