During different phases of this virus crisis these guys have saved my tail twice. My company suddenly transitioned to work from home. I tried to use my Macbook, but it didn't play well with our remote server. I was panicking to get a work laptop before I lost my mind, and every store in the state was out of stock of every laptop in my price point with okay specs. This local store had more, and more in my price point than anywhere, and I got a nice Dell for $250 that works like a charm. Then there is a shortage of Nintendo Switch consoles, and every reseller and individual seller is price gouging pre-owned. First world problem I know, but I snagged one here for a loved one to keep him from going insane during deployment at a reasonable price. It's hard to keep a livable profit going as a small business owner in a physical store, so yes the store needs to make a profit somewhere, but these are good dudes that don't try to scalp people when everyone else right now is. I'm not buying new anymore. I'm going to buy used right here and pay them if something needs to be fixed. Serious life hack. To hell...
Read moreThey always seem standoffish when you enter the store, like they aren't sure what kind of person you are and they need to do an ocular inspection to make sure you're not trying to doop them. But after you get past that awkward stage they're super friendly and helpful. Any time I come in with broken game boys or old games to trade he turns into a big soft sweetheart. Usually works out a great deal that both of us are happy with and the the big sweetie throws more on top of the deal. Big lug. I'll always come here for my game needs, or to trade my old broken stuff for his not broken stuff. I never feel cheated or tricked, I'm never taken advantage of. These are good people just trying to run a business and if you have something of value they will work with you. When I get game cube games for my kids he always puts his quality sticker on them just in case it doesn't work I can't bring it back. Give them a shot, just make sure you bring your manners and don't try to pull a fast one. Good, smart men that know what...
Read moreMy family and I try and support local businesses since online shopping has become cheaper. Unfortunately, we will no longer support this store. We came in on a hunt for something. Anyone who loves the old systems understands that finding certain games can be difficult. We asked about Digimon for DS and the guy said they didn’t have any. My son looked to see if there were any other games he might want. Lo and behold DIGIMON WORLDS for DS in its original case. The guy couldn’t find the price so he started hunting online. The whole time we were planning on buying this game. The guy at the counter found its rare and said it’s not for sale even though it was in the case with all the other games for sale. Plus, as a side note they have a TV for sale that is $400 or a little over (can’t remember), but you can go buy the same size for less down the road at Walmart. I didn’t see a brand so highly doubtful it’s a Samsung or alike. Guys don’t waste your time and...
