I’m going to start by saying that I am a Verizon customer and have been for at least the last 20 years.
I recently cracked my screen protector. And in need of a new one. I went to a Verizon store on Sunday and they were closed which is not a big deal. I figured I would come again on Monday. Got to the store at 5:03 and the store was closed. I understand closing and minimizing staff because of the virus, but how can a person that has to work a normal 8-5 job get to a retail store if they are closed during the hours a working person might need help?
Anyway I figured all phones are the same no matter the company that provides the service. I went to the sprint store a couple stores down. The sales consultant Josh Bolton was at the door to greet me, asked how he could help and got a protective screen cover for me ASAP. Not only that but he put it on my phone for me. That wasn’t even done by Verizon when I bought the phone or when I came back for a replacement cover.
Throughout our transaction Josh was very professional. We were making conversation and he made me feel like I was the only one there, I was not.
After the interaction, and Verizon’s lack of understanding that we are not all furloughed, or unemployed, or work hours that would allow us to shop before 5, I am seriously considering changing providers. But I am going to do some research on the plans offered, but that doesn’t mean I can’t buy my accessories from sprint!
Thanks Josh for your...
Read moreLydia was very rude, cussed at me, and didn’t want to sell me a phone because it would “affect her numbers”. All because I didn’t want to get insurance. I am there to buy phone, it isn’t my fault the employer makes it affect your numbers if you don’t up sell me on something. I am very stubborn and am used to people trying to up sell the stuff they are trying to get me to buy. But I am not obligated to get nor should I be cussed at if I do not accept the up selling they are trying to do. Lydia also doesn’t like the fact that me and my husband share different political views. Which why should that matter at your place of employment… it shouldn’t even be brought up. The manager didn’t seem to care about the experience I received and said she would “pass it up to higher management” but we will see if that even happens. Ask yourself this should this be how you are treated when you are simply coming in to do an upgrade? No. Should politics be brought up at your place of employment? No! Highly do not recommend going to this location based on customer service alone! I highly doubt I will be contacted by anyone nor will they even discipline their employee even tho they say they are “all about...
Read moreI believe you use predatory terms and ways of explaining things that make it more difficult to understand until it’s to late, I was made to feel like a complete idiot and am stuck with a massive bill now that I have no choice but to pay. And you still have the guts to downgrade Netflix and everything else just to charge more.
I am going to cancel everything and have my family do so as well as soon as humanly possible, I hope you all are able to avoid falling victim, we all liked you and have been customers for a while now but this is not acceptable your customers should be walking out with a full understanding of what is going on you shouldn’t have to use shady ways to get customers if what you had going on was actually fair in the slightest your ways are obviously to take advantage in any way possible with pressure and terms that make things seem like a deal but they really bite the customer later. I am incredibly disappointed with you as a company in general. I should have been smart enough to see through it but I will make sure I am accountable and set it right for myself, regardless of how dirty...
