I would make it less than one star if I could. I bought a ceiling fan from the store. It was very straight forward, I came in knowing what fan I wanted because I had the same one in my last house that the Peoria store installed four years earlier. The salesman needed a lot of help from the manager getting the fan ordered. While I was in the store, I had to have my husband measure our ceiling height at our house to ensure I didn't need an extension rod. I went home with the fan portion that day but had to wait for the light portion. That part was no problem. A week after receiving the light portion, I had to call the installation department who never received the paperwork from the store regarding the installation. So they book the installation, and the installer comes to my house and tells me he can't legally install the fan because our ceiling didn't have the proper clearance. I have tried to call the store manager multiple times and they are completely ignoring me. What a waste of time and gas. Now I have to drive back down there and demand my money back because they knowingly sold me a fan that was unsafe for my house. I'm so unhappy with the service and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The Scottsdale store is a joke. They'll sell you expensive fans that they won't install and then ignore you completely....

On a day we didn't have any expectations we decided to visit Lamps Plus in Scottsdale and we were very surprised to find a lot of what we have been looking for but could not previously find. I think we both - to a large degree - owe this to our sales associate at the store - Johni Koch. She was extremely knowledgeable of the products in the store and listened to our constraints such as color temperature and dimmability. We purchased 2 floor lamps, 3 ceiling fans, and a large ceiling light for the kitchen... needless to say we didn't expect to spend what we did spend but I have to say that the quality thus far (I've installed the kitchen light and assembled the floor lamps) has been fantastic! Furthermore, with 1 of the ceiling fans we had the room size for it but the ceiling height was not quite high enough - we returned it and Johni helped with all of it including the $30 off online coupon for signing...

When dropping off the light in stores we where convinced to purchase this light we where eyeing and I did but I was told told since the original online order was purchased with a gift card I cannot get the credit transferred for in stores that I need to contact customer service to get a check from them so they told me I would need to pay out of pocket and wait for my refund through the mail.
Itās been about 2 months and I havenāt received a check. Customer over the phone with lamps plus support let me know it goes back to the grift card automatically when I do a return. I had thrown away the gift card once I was told I was getting a check refund. Iāve gotten the run around for WEEKS. I wouldāve never re purchased with my own money FULL PRICE knowing it would be this difficult to get a refund on the...
