My wife loves chipotle. I don't get it, but she does. I used lo like chipotle, eons ago. I had not eaten chipotle for years until about 2 years ago that my wife started to go. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I did not enjoy it due to the fat and gristle that is left on the meat. After that experience I started ordering the barbacoa, which there is fat left on it every once in a while but doable. They did start getting stingy with the meat as time passed, and as they did my wife started to get upset with the lack of meat, guess what happened? My wife orders double the meat 😂😂😂. Her lunch is expensive. Anyway, today I went to get lunch about 1pm and I ordered a carne asada bowl (barely any meat), I added guacamole and a drink for a total of $17. I think it was worth about $8. Carne asada was same low quality as last time I ate it. This place was packed, so I might be the only with that experience. Someone else went with me and got a chicken bowl and took a few bites and left it, said chicken wasn't good. I gave a 2 star to food because the barbacoa is ok for the most part, the portions can be discouraging to be a regular costumer though. I gave 3 stars to service although they are not rude, they are not a marvel, I have to take into consideration that they were very busy and it can get stressful. Atmosphere I gave a 3 star because the floor was filthy, when I was walking out somebody was starting to clean the counters. I did not go into the bathroom. Read moreI ordered $500 worth of catering for two separate Team Builders at work. I was charged, food was picked up and consumed. They did not provide receipts to my colleagues that picked up the orders. When I called to ask for a reprint so that I could properly expense the Manager told me he could not reprint because it was not same day (lie, from my understanding they use Aloha and aloha does offer the function to look for orders and reprint.) When I contacted chat support I was bounced around from bot to agent back to bot back to agent so so forth. That was all day one, Day two I attempted chat again and was bounced around for an hour. I finally got an agent who helped and said they sent the receipts to my email but i did not receive, when I confirmed the email with her she sent me back to bot. I drove to the store and spoke to the same manager who told me he could not help, he double checked and returned to tell me he could not help me and directed me to the catering phone number. I called and they were no help. They advised that they could not locate my order, I provided Name, Phone Number, Email, Location, Dates, charge amounts and last 4 of card. They still could not locate my order even after telling them that I see the recent orders in my account but needed a breakdown. I never received a confirmation email( email is correct in account) the restaurant and manager were no help, Customer care was no help. its 2024 and Chipotle is a large chain. I try not to just leave poor reviews because things don’t go my way, but this experience was just weird and frustrating. I ordered chicken tacos today and when I picked up my order it felt small. Took it out to my car and thought to check and confirmed what I thought. I don’t normal go back into to places to complain, but I received literally two pieces of chicken on one of the tacos. For nearly $13, getting two pieces of chicken is borderline robbery. When I went back into to let them know, the staff member at the checkout instructed the pickup order employee to gave me a cup of chicken to take with.
I’m in a pretty comfortable spot in life to where I don’t need to stress over $2 worth of chicken, but if I’m getting ripped off and the solution to it should be pretty simple, I’m going to try to address it. I did and I was more than happy to walk out and not think of it again. BUT as I’m about to leave the lady making pick up orders says “really? Two pieces of chicken. I don’t believe you.”
