Vegas Born — Restaurant in Paradise

Our server, Shaun, was disrespectful and rude. Started out good, but then 2 of the 3 of us got our food (side note: the side salad will come out with your meal). The 3rd person got her wings app when we got our meal. She had to wait for her meal. (It took an hour from ordering to food on table. They were not busy. Not sure of staffing status in back). When we got our food, we had to flag our server down to get silverware. He proceeded to bring silverware to the guy at the table next to us (who didn't have his food) but not us. My friend went up and got our silverware from a different server after waiting several more minutes. It was a long enough wait for our meal to be cold. Our server finally brought my friend her food. My 2 friends ordered the same sandwich. My friend noticed there was no beer cheese on the sandwich he ordered. We looked at the menu and the sandwich was supposed to come with beer cheese on it. My friend asked for it. The server ROLLED HIS EYES and brought out a small portion of beer cheese for him but not the other friend who ordered the same sandwich. The server said "we are almost out of beer cheese so that's probably why you didn't get it on the sandwich". ?!?!?!?!!what????? Why wouldn't he say that when they ordered the sandwich. The kitchen should have informed the server that they were out of beer cheese so he could come back to the table and see if my friends wanted to order something else. The server said to my other friend "We've got a small portion cup left if you want some. We even took the big pretzel off the menu because we are out". She declined. 10 minutes later a table next to us got two big pretzels with beer cheese brought to their table!

The server then went to the hostess stand and said loud enough for us to hear "I'm done with anyone from Minnesota ". We asked to speak to the manager at that point. She was friendly.

On that experience, I recommend NOT visiting this establishment, especially if you are from MN.

Food comments: my fish and fries meal was cold by the time I got silverware. Fries were cold when brought to the table. Side salad was good. The other servers and the hostess were good. The other staff even came up to our table...

This was probably the best airport food I’ve ever had HOWEVER the order took forever to be made. I asked for a refund 20mins into waiting. The person taking orders needed a manager. No problem. Someone else came to the desk whom I thought was the manager since the first person stated she needed a manager to complete the request. I politely asked for a refund. This other person looked at my receipt and she had said I was only waiting for 20 mins. (Bold statement). I told her waiting this long was ridiculous and I needed a refund. She told me she needed her manager. I quickly apologized as I thought this was the manager and told her that I thought she was as the first person stated she needed a manager. That didn’t matter as she decided to make it worse, berate me, and rudely informed me that the kitchen is also making food for the bar. Thankfully the food was ready come 25mins later. They asked if I still wanted a refund and since I was in a hurry at this point I just wanted to be done. I took the food and left just to find out the order itself was wrong. LIKE HAIR IN YOUR FOOD!!! well look no further you came to the right restaurant. Had a few hairs melted into the cheese and the manager didn’t give a shit at all. He didn’t offer to make another, he didn’t take the food away, he said “I’ll take it off the bill” and didn’t but the server did. She questioned why the manager didn’t do what he said he would do and why he didn’t take it away or offer to make another. The service took a LONG TIME. 30 min just to get the food after ordering. If you’re in a hurry don’t eat here unless you need extra carotene and need to miss your flight home. The manager was not only dismissive and extremely unprofessional when addressing or lack of addressing customers he was also very sloppy. White shirt half tucked in looking like he just woke up and rolled out of bed at his mom’s house because he can’t be professional enough to dress and act like a manager.
