Three's the charm for Hyde Lounge. The club's precursor was the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio. It was my FAVORITE place to go on Saturday nights in the early 2000s. An up-and-coming Jimmy Hopper held sway. The music stopped so everyone could watch the Bellagio Fountains from the balcony. Then Hyde replaced the Fontana Room in 2011. It became the swanky spot for dancin' and romancin', winning award after award. In 2019 the Bellagio decide to open the Mayfair Supper Club in this space. The club had such a following the owners simply moved it to the top floor of T-Mobile Arena. Now, instead of live music and DJs, the action on the arena floor provides the entertainment. It's like having your own private suite at the arena but with all the trappings of a stereotypical Las Vegas lounge. It's a marriage that works. You queue up on the far side of T-Mobile Arena and go through the scanner outside. The elevator to Hyde is right there and up you go! The elevator has a closed-circuit TV monitor so you can watch the arena action if you are late. Once inside the club, find a table. I like the ones right up against the railing because their view is the best. There are also cozy nooks for a more intimate lounge experience. Hyde has an extensive liquor and wine menu. Prices are, well, Las Vegas club-like. The club also has a large food menu. The food offerings barely fit on the plate. It's bar food, natch. There are TVs everywhere to watch what's going on on the arena floor. But the sound is muffled this high up if you want to hear the play-by-play. And if you are afraid of heights, this place is NOT for you! I was there for the Professional Bull Riders Saturday night performance. Having had season tickets when they rode bulls at Thomas & Mack, I can tell you this was an elegant experience by comparison. OK, I loved the Fontana Room. But now I love Hyde at...
Read moreMy first time in Vegas was this past weekend and prior to this time, a few friends and I wanted to attend the Golden Knights game because we had heard such great things. In the search for tickets, I saw that the Hyde Lounge offered a standing room only/general admision option. It had great reviews and we didn't mind the thought of not having assigned seating, so I made the purchase for the four of us. When we arrived for the game, the entire lounge was roped off with bouncers guarding them. I showed one of the gentlemen our tickets and was told that they are only good for the area near the entrance which had a completely obstructed view that wouldn't have allowed us the ability to see even a little bit of the game. Apparently it was all roped off due to a reserved party and our tickets did not allow us access to what would normally be available for views of the game. Apart from being frustrated by the situation, I felt even worse because I was the one who decided to purchase tickets for this particular area and now my friends were going to suffer because of it. With the opening face-off approaching, I quickly scrambled to buy an ADDITIONAL four tickets with assigned seats so that we weren't complete robbed of the experience.
I don't know if this was just an oversight by the arena because when I asked a couple of ushers on the upper deck, they acted befuddled as if they had no idea it was closed off.
I just want people to be aware that this situation is apparently a possibility; I think had the lounge been completely open, it could have been a...
Read moreThe experience for me and my husband at the Hyde Lounge was incredible! We have been to many concerts at the T Mobile Arena but reserving a table at the Hyde Lounge has been the best experience for concerts so far! To reach the Hyde Lounge we entered the arena through a side entrance ( no waiting in line) and an elevator took us straight up to the lounge. Once we were there, we checked in and were escorted to our seats. We were offered the drink and food menu right away. We had a server that brought us our food and drinks and checked in on us frequently. The service was great! We never had an empty drink in our hands and the food was delicious. If you are attending a concert, I would definitely recommend the Hyde Lounge. I reached out to Justin and he was very helpful! He answered all my questions and ensured a smooth booking experience. Justin went above and beyond by providing us with one of the best seats for me and my husband. He knew it was my husbands birthday and wanted to provide us with a memorable experience. The cost was not bad at all. We had to spend a minimum of 150.00 each on food and drinks. The 150.00 included our...
