Arrival: we got to Excalibur about an hour and a half early and parked in the parking garage. It was secluded and we felt safe it cast $25 to park there. It is a bit of a maze navigating the casino I recommend asking for help locating it if you are struggling, it is downstairs in the arcade. It took us a good 20 to 30 minutes to walk from the parking garage and find the entrance. When we found the entrance a line was already forming an hour before the actual show started and we hopped in line. 30 minuted before the start of the show they began scanning tickets and letting us enter. We found our seats easily with the help of the staff. Promptly our servers came and started getting our drinks. With us arriving so early we got in quick and we're able to enjoy the pre-show atmosphere, with lots of playful rivalry between the sections. We were sat at the end meaning we had to stand up to let people out or they stepped over the seats if they needed to.
Seats: I dont think there was a bad seat in the arena. We sat in Dragon, where you cheer for the villians which was fun and rowdy. You don't have someone to cheer for for the whole thing but get a good chunk of time near the end to cheer for the bad guys and you can boo and heckle the rest as much as you want. The other sections were all having a great time too. We sat in the back which had a great view. I didn't feel like I was too far from the action. There were times fire is used and we could feel the heat all the way at the top! The seats are small and the arm rests do not raise or move. But i found i could sit forward quite comfortably and lean up against the table and move around well. We had an extra seat that was not in use so we were able to move our lege and had extra room i recomend that if you are plus size or tall. If you have larger dimensions like me, there are a few options: get an extra seat, or there were sections that had pull out seats with no arm rests I saw while I walked to our seats. I saw online there were other accessable areas that could be used for plus sized people as well. Or like me you could pay extra and get an additional seat to allow you to spread out. As far as accessibility goes, there were quite a few stairs, though I did see online again there is accessibility options so they may have a solution if you contact them with your needs!
Food: the food was brought out quickly and efficiently by the staff once the show started. I will tell you staff in vegas are on another level. Our waitor made sure everyone's galsses were always full and we all had enough napkins. The food is as expected, rotisserie style chicken, some small baked potatoes, corn, and some bread. I saw some plates have a pasta with red sauce instead of chicken, i assume for vegitarian people or people with dietary restrictions. I am not sure how they relayed this to the staff but they seemingly accommodated. There are no utesiles so you eat in the method traditional for the time, with your hands! They did have some hand wipes for us. But we also made sure that we used some handsaitizer after touching all the railings getting in. They provided bottomless soda. They have 3 options for soda Pepsi l, diet Pepsi, and starry. You can get water if you want. There is a drink menu where you can purchase additional drinks if you want. After we ate the brought out little apple pie pastries. We were full and satisfied after our meal.
The show: the show was so fun! Jousting, sword work, fireworks, flames, the works! The cast was great, energetic and playful and very skilled! It was definitely a family friendly atmosphere and show. There was audience participation. Lots of loud noises and flashing lights. I highly recommend!
Overall: a great show I...

This was easily one of my favorite experiences in Las Vegas! We attended the Tournament of Kings the night after my nephew’s birthday because I didn’t want him to be upset if his team lost on his actual birthday. Of course, we chose Team Dragon—the ultimate villain team (we never win, but we have the most fun)!
Tickets & Booking
Tickets range from $60 to $80 per person, but we found a great deal on Vegas.com (or Las Vegas Show Tickets) for around $54 each. However, when purchasing through a third-party site, we didn’t receive a prompt to select our meal options in advance. Luckily, we arrived two hours early, which gave us enough time to sort it out at the Excalibur Casino ticket desk. Otherwise, we would have all been stuck with the default meal.
The meal options included:
Regular Meal – Roast chicken, potatoes, and other finger foods
Vegetarian Option – Pasta (which my sister enjoyed)
Kid’s Meal – Chicken strips and fries
Another downside was that staff never informed us that we could sign my nephew up to have his birthday announced during the show. He was wearing his birthday sash, and when the wizard began calling out birthday names, he got excited—only to be disappointed when his name wasn’t mentioned. I wish we had known in advance about this feature.
Getting to the Show & Seating
The Excalibur Hotel & Casino is in a great location, with a convenient pedestrian bridge that connects to the Strip. Before the show, we explored nearby hotels, which was a fun bonus.
To enter Tournament of Kings, you go downstairs into the arcade area, which was perfect because my nephew got to play games while we waited in line. The line was long but moved quickly, and we found our seats right away in the Dragon section.
The Show & Service
The arena is massive, and the experience was 100% immersive! You feel like part of the action—cheering, booing, and getting hyped by the performers. Team Dragon may not win, but the energy is incredible!
Unfortunately, the seat I was assigned was broken. I immediately let the staff know, and they were incredibly helpful—not only did they move us to better seats closer to the action, but they also gave me a free drink to make up for the inconvenience. My sister had to stay in the original section since our new spot only had space for four, but overall, the staff handled it very well.
Throughout the show, the knights interact with the crowd, giving you fierce looks, engaging with your reactions, and making the experience even more exciting. There's also a performer who walks around encouraging the audience to get involved—laughing, booing, and cheering.
Post-Show Interaction
One of the best parts? After the show, the knights come out to meet guests! You can take pictures with them and chat, which made for a great ending to an already amazing night.
Final Thoughts
This experience was a solid 10/10. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Despite the small hiccups, the staff was fantastic, the show was engaging, and my nephew absolutely loved it. Anytime I return to Vegas, this will be a must-do attraction....
Read moreSo my husband and I spent $200 on this show while on our honeymoon. Food was super cool, they serve you half a chicken, potatos, and corn and you have to use your hands to eat to really make the experience authentic. The performers were really cool and this show would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for our drink server Cherie. Right off the bat she was rude to the girl sitting next to us because she had a dietary restriction and did not mention it to the food server. The guest apologized to Cherie profusely and she did mention it plenty of time in advance before foods were brought out, but Cherie still told her “yeah well you should have mentioned it to your food server but I’ll see what I can do. I’m not promising anything” Fast forward to ordering our drinks… I ordered a mojito and 2 Jell-O shots. My mojito came, my Jell-O shots did not. My husband tried to get her attention to ask about them after we waited about 30 minutes and she proceeded to put her finger in his face and tell him “I’ll be with you in a second” and never came back. So I got up out of my seat during the show to track her down. Finally found her, she did apologize but her rude attitude to the girl sitting next to us and to us while ordering already rubbed me wrong. So we got our bill, which was $60 and we did not tip. I’m not tipping for anything other than service provided and Cherie’s service was garbage. When she collected our check and saw there was no tip she looked at us confused and said “wait… oh wow. Thanks, You guys are so amazing. Seriously you two are just so great, thanks SO MUCH” super sarcastically and rude in front of everyone. The people around us were as shocked as we were. Meanwhile we tipped our food server Victor $20 because he was SO KIND and very friendly to us and everyone around us. We were also told we were not the only ones complaining about Cherie’s attitude. Long story short, Cherie should probably find a job not involved in hospitality, especially where children are involved. If she treated us the way she did in front of our children, we would have had a much bigger problem and I really hope she never treats a family the way she treated us and the group...
