Quick Overview: what me and my fiancé ordered (turkey club) was surprisingly bad (bread was extremely dry and stale - the sandwich in general lacked flavor) and our waiter seemed to disappear into the kitchen area not to be seen for long periods of time. They weren't that busy. Again, I can't stress how stale the bread was and the fact that they put THREE slices of dry stale bread on one sandwich made it really hard to eat. I can't decide which was worse - the food or the service.
Full experience: the actual restaurant is small but cute and located in a convenient area if you are close to the New York New York casino.
When our waiter first came to our table the interaction was a bit odd but I didn't think anything of it. After our full experience though I thought back to that moment and realized it was our first warning sign.
When we got our food, they only brought out one plate for one person and took a solid 10 minutes to bring the rest of our food. Which we again thought was odd.
Our sandwich was tall and had 3 slices of bread. The bottom portion was pretty much a BLT and the top portion just had turkey. The problem was the bread was so dry and stale we could barely eat it and there was barely anything on the sandwich besides bread (one slice of bacon, a tomato slice, and a little bit of turkey). Me and my fiancé were so hungry and didn't want to complain so I took off the middle slice of bread and just ate the portions that had fillings on it and left the rest on the plate.
We didn't ask for our money back or for our food to be replaced. That's not something we do but after we left we agreed that we should have. We had THREE tables around us that had issues with their orders as well.
One table got the wrong order and what appeared to be a slice of American cheese on an omelette that wasn't even melted. Another table had to send food back. A completely different table had to send their bagel back because it was cold and not toasted at all. One guy ordered the same turkey club I did and it was entertaining watching him try to eat it. It was not an easy task. This is just what was overheard from tables close to us and I'm sure there were more complaints in detail that we didn't see.
To add to it all our waiter was almost non-existent. Our friend asked for more water which never came. He never asked how our food was. He didn't even bring us our food or bring food to any table around us either - a bus boy did. We waited a while to get our check and when it did come he just dropped it off and walked away without one word. I would cut him some slack if they were busy but this was passed midnight and they weren't. It looked as if he was just hanging out in the kitchen area which also had issues keeping it together. Maybe he was the cook! That would make sense.
All in all, order from this place only as a last resort and STAY CLEAR of the turkey club. Vegas has so much better to...
Read moreShort staff, unprofessional waitresses/staff. The front girl was busy on the computer surfing on google browsing and she rudely stopped me when I asked her for a table ( most of the tables were empty). Then she reluctantly with no eye contact let us (4 of us) in. It took long our waitress come to introduce herself and take our order. She was rude and sniffing ( we should have left, this is one of those moments that you ask yourself later why you didn’t leave). Took longer after couple of times asking for serving plates. Let’s get to the food. We all ordered classic burgers. The burgers were burnt outside and inside pink so blunt and tasteless definitely oily and not charcoaled as it was claimed. We decided it to complain as we convinced ourselves that we are in Vegas, it’s ok, just let’s enjoy our time and make excuses. Anyway, when we paid with generously tips, our waitress asked us how the food was, my friend who is a successful restaurant owner simply said the food was awful; surprisingly, the waitress rudely replied back, if it was awful why did you eat it and she shrugged her shoulders and left. I wanted to ask her manager to complain; however, my husband convinced me to let go as we won’t make any changes by talking to her manager because if this place has a proper management, the staff were acting properly and the food would be better. I decided to write this comment with more details because this location has 4.2 rating which is so interesting. I hope people pay more attention when they rate because I looked at the rating before dining...
Read moreThe food was delicious! However, the hostess Ashley, and waitress Jessica were absolutely terrible. No greetings, just "how many?". No smile. Ashley told us there was a 20 minute wait but she would put us on the list, so we went into the shop across the way for 15 minutes. Since we were clock watching because we were starving, we came by the front again and she gave us a blank stare and said "I called out your name a minute ago".. um... Does anyone know how loud it is in there especially when a mouse is "calling" your name?! Whatever, she sat us down and here comes rude Jessica... Again, no smile, no greetings. We ordered, the food came, we ate and waited for our checks. She never stopped by, another waitress asked us how it was going, if we needed anything, etc. When we asked Jessica for our checks, it took a few times, as she was chatting with the other waitress. She brought them out eventually, and my friend was collecting her cash (my other friend and I used our debit cards) and she said, "I don't have time for that, I'll be back for yours"... So we waited for 10 minutes for her to bring us our receipts and to pick up our friends tab. We left, no thanks, no goodbye, nothing. Horrible service, excellent food. The other staff seemed nice, but Ashley and Jessica should definitely get out of the customer...
