My wife went by to pay owed balance in cash. Employee told her a balance that was $182 over actual balance, so wife (not knowing) paid amount. I went in later, with proof from AT&T, that payment was $182 too much. But store would not refund the difference. I stood my ground (actually sat in a chair) and insisted on getting OUR (not their) money back and wanted manager to come to the store.
She elected not to interrupt her Saturday evening activity and come to help a customer, but the police sure did come - and they protected and served the corporate entity, rather than a citizen who was who was overcharged and owed money - money that was earmarked for other bills.
After leaving, I called AT&T customer "service." Result? "I'm sorry, but since your wife paid cash, we cannot refund your over payment." "What about sending us a prepaid debit card or check?" "I'm sorry, but we can't do that. But your credit will make next...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNormally I don't leave reviews but this has become an issue I went to the Paris location to buy a new phone. I told the last that helped me my budget for my monthly bill yes and was told my bill the first time would be 150 because of activation fees which I was okay with paying and that my bills every month after would be $100. When I got my first bill it was $270 and when I called to handle this situation they told me I had to pay it and the only way to reduce the amount was to get rid of my insurance which does not make sense because insurance still is not $120 extra. Now every month after my bill has changed. And is repeatedly changing prices in exceeding $100. I am a single mom of two. I am on a very strict budget. This really upsets me that she had me get a phone based off of a lie that I was told for the price so that this employee could get the commission off of a more...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePoor customer service! I went to this store location today. Both visible sales reps were assisting other customers. So I browsed phones and patiently sat at one of the tables. As I sat I couldn't help but overhear one rep was just basically shooting the breeze with a customer. I didn't see any sales business taking place whatsoever at her table. I sat in that store for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement of my presence. They made eye contact but never greeted me, never said a word. Ive been to this location twice before and thought the service was poor but today it was just ridiculous. You greet customers, tell them you'll be right with them or you'll be with them as soon as possible! You don't ignore them while sharing high school stories in lieu of doing your job! I'll do my business online or in Sherman from now on. I left after 15 min and never one...
