By far the most unpleasant and discouraging tailoring experience I've had, ever. Day 1: I call the store after work to see if I can return a shirt I had purchased online, the guy on the phone says I have to come another day because there is no store manager at that time "he had to leave" and therefore nobody to issue refunds. Since I had to tailor 3 pants I decided to go anyway for the tailoring only to find out there was indeed a manager in store and was indeed able to refund me the shirt, only he seemed way too tired and sluggish, probably why they didn't feel like dealing with that issue when I called at first. Proceeding to the tailoring service, all measures are taken, I am charged $105x3 with a 2 week pick up date. Day 2 (2 weeks later) I return to pick up my tailored pants only to find out no actual work has been done on them (SMH), seriously! nothing! All measures were retaken again! As I am given another promise for another week out, a senior gentleman trying his pants, barely standing up with a cane is expressing tailoring dissappointment to his wife saying "they cut it too short and sewed my pockets in". Poor guy. I walk out and return tonight for my 3rd visit and 2nt attempt to pick up. Day 3: I show up tonight to pick up my pants. The waist has been adjusted but to my surpise, the "extreme taper" that I have been charged for has not yet been done. At this time I am fully exhausted w/ them and ask for a refund, for which I was told YES that could be done. I was taken to the counter all the way prior to refund the lady excuses herself and comes back shortly to THEN tell me NO REFUND can be done, they have to "keep trying until they can't anymore". I ask to speak with the manager, she says she's the manager, I asked then how did she promise something as a manager and didn't know it could be done? she said bc she spoke with her "Superior" who isn't present nor she's willing to call him again. Now either they hold my tailoring hostage with empty promises to correct it or I can "call corporate" as she presents me with a card. I take the card and the pants and walk away, the lying lady says "you don't have to snatch it out of my hand" - for which I responded she's lucky she isn't a man or I'd have slapped her! (As a man, for not honoring a men's word). to which she replied with an invitation to go ahead and slap her. Fortunately, my daughter took the initiative to address this, allowing us to proceed with our fourth visit. On our next visit, Chloe greeted us warmly and provided exceptional service with charm and friendliness. She efficiently placed our order on the website without rushing and ensured accurate measurements for the men. Her assistance played a key role in retaining our business, and her professionalism greatly enhanced our experience. Despite the presentation, the store's overall ambiance could be enhanced. Its dated appearance detracts from the shopping experience, not complementing the sharp features of the stylish suites. A refresh in terms of cleanliness and presentation is suggested. Even a simple update like a fresh coat of paint or a more appealing merchandise display could significantly improve the store's appeal and attract more customers. Despite these aspects, we were satisfied with our purchase, although we returned it shortly after the event.
