I recently had the pleasure of experiencing GolfTec over the past three months, and I must say, it has been an absolutely fantastic journey! From the moment I stepped into their facility, I knew I was in good hands. Coach Tyler's expertise in the golf swing is truly remarkable. What sets Coach Tyler apart is his ability to relate to his students. I found his coaching style to be encouraging, patient, and motivating, which has truly made a significant impact on my golfing abilities.

Accessibility is another aspect that GolfTec excels at. Coach Tyler has always been readily available for practice sessions and lessons. Whether I needed extra guidance or had specific questions, he was there to provide guidance and support. This accessibility has truly enhanced my practice sessions and allowed me to progress at a faster pace. Beyond the coaching experience, GolfTec as a whole has been a welcoming and friendly environment. Larry and Jeremy, the staff members at the facility, have been awesome to chat with while waiting for a hitting bay. Both have gotten to know me and my swing, even though they are not my designated coaches.

Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the cost of GolfTec. However, after recently welcoming a new child into my life, time has become an extremely precious commodity. GolfTec has proven to be a game-changer in this regard. I am able to get in-and-out within 30 minutes instead of waiting in line at the driving range for 45 minutes. My normal practice routine was to go to Brookside (which I still love) but the spring and summer lines were out of the question. The efficiency of their access to hitting bays and the ease of getting in and out fit perfectly into my busy schedule. I no longer have to worry about wasting time on ineffective practice. Instead, I can focus on improving my skills and spending quality time with my family.

In fact, I have been so impressed with GolfTec that I have decided to extend my membership for another three months. I initially joined as a way to test the program, but the results speak for themselves. In the past 20 years, I have worked with numerous swing coaches, but none have been able to improve my ball striking like GolfTec has. The progress I have made in just a few months is astounding, and I am excited to continue this journey with Coach Tyler and the GolfTec team.

When I first signed up with GolfTec my goal was to gain a consistent golf swing and with that I figured my scores would naturally improve. The analytical approach of GolfTec is ideal for an engineer like me but it still takes the coach to get the message of the lessons across, like saying the same thing a dozen different ways until you understand it. Also, I have to say it takes commitment on the student's part to accept the changes and put in the time to work on those changes.

I've been taking lessons from GolfTec for more than a few years and have had several coaches. At the start I never really had much time to work on my game because of my job but I still managed to drop my index by 6 over that period. Now that I'm recently retired and started working with Scott McAulay I've dropped my index another 6, down to a 6.9 and in a much shorter period. I even shot my first par round (72) ever! Yes, there was a period of time when my scores got really bad when making my swing changes but Scott kept working with me until I got it right. So I can honestly say I've accomplished my initial goal and now I have the confidence off the tee to find any fairway and hit more greens. There's still more work to be done but I'm confident Scott will get me there.

Scott McAulay is my certified personal coach at GolfTEC Pasadena. I have been taking lessons from Scott for nine months. My goal is to develop the proper golf technique in order to hit shots with less struggle and achieve better results. Before I started with Scott I was struggling with distance, topping, hitting the ground early, etc. My average round was 115. Scott identified specific problems with my technique and is working with me on these issues. During each lesson, Scott evaluates current progress and provides feedback, demonstrations, video recordings and drills. He continues to tailor the lessons to my progress each week. Since starting with Scott I have dropped at least 10 strokes off my game, have broken 100 a few times, am no longer struggling with miss hits, and my distance continues to improve.

Scott is an experienced and knowledgeable golf coach. He is professional, patient, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Scott McAulay as golf coach.
