From the moment I walked into The Center of The Universe in Payson, Utah, I knew I had found something special. This place isnāt just a cafĆ©; itās a whole vibe. You can feel the thought and care that went into every detailāfrom the cozy, eclectic dĆ©cor to the warm smiles that greet you as soon as you step inside.
The Food and Drinks Let me start with the foodāoh my goodness, the food! I decided to try their fancy toast after hearing so many rave reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the avocado toast with an egg on top, and it was like a little piece of heaven on a plate. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Their hot chocolate, though, was the real showstopper. Itās rich, creamy, and perfectly balancedānot too sweet, just pure chocolatey perfection. Iām not exaggerating when I say itās probably the best hot chocolate Iāve ever had.
Their coffee is also outstanding. Iām a bit of a coffee snob, and the latte I ordered was silky, smooth, and expertly crafted. You can tell the baristas here know their stuff.
The Atmosphere What really made the experience for me, though, was the atmosphere. Itās hard to put into words, but thereās just something about this place that makes you feel at home. The space is inviting and comfortable, with a mix of modern and rustic touches that give it so much character. Itās the kind of place where you can settle in for hours, whether youāre catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just enjoying a quiet moment to yourself.
Thereās even a little boutique inside with pre-loved clothing, which was such a fun surprise. I ended up finding a couple of unique pieces that I absolutely loveāitās like they thought of everything to make your...

Absolutely love this place! Itās hands down one of my favorite spots to relax and hang out. The vibe is super comfortable, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The drinks and food are consistently deliciousāseriously, the cinnamon rolls are to die for, and the avocado toast is divine!
One of the most unique features is the little book exchange in the back. You can give a book and get a book, which adds such a fun and personal touch to the experience. And if thatās not enough, thereās a clothing thrift store towards the back thatās just amazing. The prices are very reasonable, and they do a fantastic job keeping the selection fresh. I always find something I love every time I visit.
They also have games and newspapers available, making it such a welcoming and inclusive space. My friends and I always feel safe and comfortable here, which is a huge plus. The owners seem incredibly kind, and the employees are always friendly and helpful.
I love that they allow outside food and drink. I have friends that have food restriction so this is very nice. Only complaint is they donāt take cash.
If youāre looking for a cozy, unique spot with great food, fun finds, and a welcoming vibe, this is it!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm in love with this new cafe! Totally sweet and fun vibe, but it's chill too. I can see friends gathering and having a roaring good time, or people quietly reading or knitting too. It's also kid friendly, just ask for the unicorn hot chocolate š
My girls tried a variety of hot chocolates which they loved, and I had a Honeybush Pumpkin Chai Latte (made with oat milk) and it was really delicious. It's a fun and aesthetically pleasing place with a great variety of tea blends, iced teas, fancy toasts, hot chocolate, coffee (of course), soft serve ice cream, and soda. There's also a thrift shop in the back with "pre-rocked clothes" where I found a lot of awesome clothes for such a great deal! Brittany has excellent style so all the clothes are curated to be great pieces. I highly recommend.
It's also a beautiful space for anyone who just needs a good hang out spot, or to enjoy an open mic. Hymns for the Hymnless is on Sundays starting at 10:30 am. Open mic for music and poetry and storytelling. I'm excited to go back with...
