Sunshine Herb Shop — Local services in Peachtree City

I purchased a product at this store today ($22 bottle of essential oil), after being VERY CLEAR that I wanted a food grade product safe for ingestion to make flavored toothpicks. The clerk assured me that the oil is food grade and safe to ingest. HOWEVER, after arriving home & looking closer at the bottle (after I opened it), the bottle very plainly says FOR TOPICAL AND AROMATIC USE ONLY. I called back to the shop, not to ask for a refund but merely to state that I felt misled, only to be told that I'm incorrect and the product is safe for ingestion. BASED ON WHAT??? The company certainly doesn't say that about its products. I could have bought a $5 bottle of oil off Amazon, with thousands of reviews that saying it's safe, and it would have been the same difference. I don't feel any safer using this oil than I would have any other 'highly recommended' brand, and at least I wouldn't have been insulted by the clerk when I called back to say, "I think I deserved the courtesy of having the clerk point out the usage labeling" so I could have decided BEFORE I bought it whether or not I wanted to make the purchase. My first, very bad, and certainly LAST visit...

This shop is great but the staff is not. Following your customers around like they are going to steal and watching them is not what people want to experience as a shopper. This is a herb shop most people are new when they come into places like this. It’s one thing to ask if they need help but to watch them like a criminal is another. This is why I choose to spend my money in other herb shops.

I've been coming here for the past few months, and sometimes 2 times a week. I been trying to ignore that the blonde female at register, that appears pregnant, always have a bad attitude, there can be people around the register talking that isn't ready and have said they aren't ready to check out, or one time a lady told her that I was there 1st when she was trying to ring up that lady before me.
