My Peachtree Corners Jazzercise is a fantastic organization. First of all, the owner, Crystal Ramhorst, runs a 1st class organization. She is so fun and always looking for new ways to make classes interesting and still stay in the Jazz, INC rules and regulations, never misses a chance to celebrate someone's milestone, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries (this includes the instructors too), attendance goals with rewards, and the holidays are celebrated with decorations and themed music routines. The t-shirt, bandanna, towels, bag rewards are terrific! The music and routines are modern ,fun, and one can always request! The facility is clean, roomy, sanitary, attractive, and bright! It is an easy location to find with plenty of parking. Restrooms are big enough to change in if you come from work. They have childcare; the kids always come away with a smile on their face and always ready to part when they arrive. The instructors are highly skilled, so friendly, upbeat, and challenging. They demonstrate all levels of skills and modifications for the level of workout one wants to attain. They talk to you all the time, sharing their moods, day to day happenings, and they just plain relate to you!! During this pandemic, we have never missed an opportunity to workout! Crystal setup Jazzercise INC classes online for us free (if we were members) until she got the go ahead to have classes at her facility. Classes are now in-person or virtual, your choice depending on your comfort with social distancing and such. Members are all friends!! We socialize together, online and, before the pandemic, at breakfasts, parties, restaurants. I say, again, this is the best organization and people I have been around in a long time. I will continue for a long time, not only for my health but of the lifelong friendships...
Read moreI started Jazzercising in 1996, and it was love at first dance. Not only has it kept me physically strong and flexible, but the social, mental, and emotional benefits are priceless. Daily dancing is the magic that has carried me through divorce, infertility treatments, the death of several close family members, job stress, and the chaos of 2020. Willpower doesn’t exist for me, but routine works. Consistency is key, and Jazzercise is prioritized first thing each morning. Everyone knows I’m not available until after I dance. If something interrupts my morning schedule, I love that I can livestream from anywhere or attend another of the many classes available seven days a week. I have tried all the lesser exercise programs, i.e., gym, YMCA, videotapes, neighborhood walking, etc. but nothing stuck until I discovered Jazzercise. The great music, easy-to-learn routines, & awesome instructors make a workout that’s so fun you don’t feel like you are exercising. I prefer to think it’s my morning dance party. Over twenty-seven years later, I’m aging gracefully, energized, strong, and still loving my “Power in an...
Read moreI was asked to write a review, so here it is. Jazzercise was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I had thought it would be a great way to meet women my age while burning calories. I did a 10 day trial period and only went 3 times. Almost everyone was friendly and welcoming. Only one or two never spoke to me. I felt safe with the safety measures against Covid. What I didn’t enjoy was the music. I mean if you are marketing to women 40 and up, clearly we don’t listened to today’s music. I had imagined it would be 80s music or Yacht Rock or disco. I never heard one song, I knew. I also didn’t like the continuous talking from the instructors about general stuff while instructing the class. Who cares that you slept with the window open last night. I didn’t quite understand why they shared personal things. And I’m not sure why they asked me to write a review when I’ve not been in months and not one person has called or followed up with me to get my feedback from my trial period. I guess they don’t teach customer service at Jazzercise. If those things don’t bother you, then I...
