Usually, Firehouse is one of the best places to eat a quick, fresh, hot meal. Usually. This location is the exception. We had poor customer service from the minute we walked in. Not one of the five employees working greeted us or asked if we needed to be helped.
After I got my son into a high chair, I left him with my wife and went up to the counter to order. After about 30 seconds of standing there, one of the cooks tells the cashier there's a customer. I mean, I'm a big guy... I know you can see me standing here! Finally about 60 seconds later she looks up at me, doesn't smile or tell me she'll be right with me or say anything at all!
Finally, a young man walks up and asks what I needed, which was just the drinks because I had already placed my order online. Next, we proceed to wait 20+ mins while three of the four cooks go in the back room to have a chat while one guy is stuck making our sandwiches.
This is NOT the kind of service I expect from a company like Firehouse, and we will NOT be returning to this location. The food was also sub-par, at best. I'm sure the owner will respond to this review with some half-genuine response about addressing the issues, but don't be fooled! Look down further in the reviews, plenty of other people have been saying the same kind of things about this location for months. The owner clearly doesn't care. This locations don’t have a delivery person they using Lyft or Uber as the Manager says, they work for them. When I paid for my order it was to firehouse. I literally lives across the street, the lady that was delivering my food didn’t speak English, took about 50 minutes to deliver my order. I called to speak with the Manager all she could say they don’t give refunds, obviously she not educated to know the law. When you purchase something from any merchant, that’s where your refund comes from. I pacifically wrote on my notes for my delivery to be handed to me not left on the nasty floor. Because this Driver, this delivery person didn’t know how to speak English or understand she left it on the nasty floor never again will I order from firehouse very disappointed when I am a regular customer, please replace this Manager she have no knowledge how to deal with resolving issues with Customers. Read moreOne of the absolute worst sub shops in Atlanta. Extremely poor, rude & incompetent management. I had a serious issue in store and requested the manager. The manager was literally walking around outside on a personal phone call arguing on the phone with someone while the store was a mess, employees were struggling with orders, and no one was even capable of servicing the customers. Once the manager finally decided to come back inside I asked for the franchisee's name & contact info and she refused to give it to me. I asked for the District Manager's name and contact info and she only told me his first name (Chase) and refused to give me his number. The manager identified herself as "Stephanie". I contacted Firehouse Corporate HQ, they apologized and they informed me they notified the franchisee and District Manager to contact me however no one has done so. Hopefully the franchisee contacts me, the manager Stephanie is literally driving customers away from the business.
