The service is terrible. Everyone there seems to hate their job. They only interact with eachother and not the customers unless they are up at the front to order and even then, it takes a while for someone to come up there. They rely on you ordering from the kiosk. I stopped getting anything from that store because of the terrible energy and apathetic attitude I was constantly getting. When they had charged strawberry lemonade, the machine was never cleaned and the drink came out carbonated. Most likely from the pulp that would age inside and become acidic when not cleaned. And i drank one a couple times a week before a busy shift (I work in the restaurant industry). I would tell management it was a constant problem about the lemonade, and they would do nothing about it. It made me sick once. This was the only location this was a problem at. As a Dasher, they have a sign for delivery drivers to not stand in the window waiting for your order in English and Spanish, that the name will be called. No one calls names. The prepping and ready screen never has the accurate customers name and there’s never food in the cubby. You are being blatantly ignored until you ask, which requires you to stand in the window and address someone there. Or you just don’t get your food. The last time i went in there as a dasher, i stood 5 minutes aside the window, the name i was picking up never even came up on the screen. A light-skinned black woman in glasses with a drive thru headset on rolled her eyes several times and dismissed me when i asked for her to just verify if they even had the order cause it never showed up on the screen and it may have already been picked up, she cut me off and said “i’m working on it, what don’t you understand?” Never even telling me if she had the name i was saying cause she didn’t wanna hear me speaking. I just cancelled the order. Someone else could deal with such a nasty attitude. Especially around the holidays. If you hate your job so much, you should just quit. The energy in that store is...
Read moreHoly cow, I can’t describe just how terrible of a Panera Bread location this one is! Almost all the time both of the kiosks inside to order are down, which means you have to order on the app or at the register, in which no one is there half the time, so you must wait or ask for assistance just to place your order. Once you do, you are almost always met with unfriendly service, from both the register, the people behind the pick up window, or the drive thru. The atmosphere almost feels hostile, and I’ve never felt welcome by the staff. Every experience I’ve had at this location has had some issue, usually an issue with my order (my Cobb salad with chicken was literally missing the chicken!) or they straight up just marked my order complete in the system and never actually made it (I once ordered a simple charged lemonade and 10 minutes went by, still not received it even though it had been marked as ready, I had to go up to the window and explain the issue.) I love Panera Bread, but the atmosphere, poor quality and carelessness at my closest location always drives me away. It’s terrible that a much more welcoming and efficient location is on the other side of town, which I do not feel like making the commute to just to get a lemonade...
Read moreI had a truly disappointing experience at the Panera Bread on Pearland Parkway. I was shocked at how misleading their menu pricing is and how unprofessional the customer service was. Their "Pick 2" menu advertises items for $6.99, yet when I ordered two half sandwiches with a small soup and two drinks, my total came out to $32. When I asked for clarification, the manager was dismissive and had an incredibly rude attitude, stating that prices change depending on the items ordered. In frustration, I opted to just get the sandwiches, yet I was still charged $28 for two half sandwiches—outrageous pricing for such small portions.
To make matters worse, the staff showed no effort to be accommodating or understanding. They even asked me to return the bread they had placed in my bag, despite the fact that I had already touched it. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from this location was beyond frustrating, and it’s clear from other reviews that I’m not alone in this experience.
I will not be returning to this Panera Bread, and I strongly urge others to be cautious of their deceptive pricing and poor service. I expected better from a brand like Panera, but this visit was nothing short of...
