Razzle Dazzle Dancewear — Local services in Pearland

June 2, 2022 update: The owner of the store reached out to me directly as she was not aware of this incident and not only explained the supply chain issues they were experiencing, but offered to make things right regardless. The owner also explained that she had not received negative feedback regarding the Silky Dance turners. This was our 1st experience with them so I can't really comment. However, I really appreciate people who stand behind their business and customer satisfaction. They certainly did not need to do any of this, they went out of their way to do so. For that, I am updating my review based on the after sale customer service experience received.

Original review: Buyer beware! My daughter's dance shoes wore a hole and I needed to get her a replacement. Razzle Dazzle was one of the few places open so I called before having to drive 30 minutes there. I spoke with a lady who verified they had Twilla Body Wrapper II leather dance shoes in stock. So I drove over and purchased them and it wasn't until I got back that I realized it was not even the right brand. As you see in the picture, it's some knock off called silky dance. I called back and the lady said they guaranteed it is the same shoes and they did not have the Twilla in stock, but that these were just as good.

My daughter wore these for less than an hour before the color already wore off. The quality is nowhere close to the Twilla shoes she normally wears and will last months of daily dance wear. Of course I can't even get a refund at this point because of their return policy.

You can't try on shoes without buying them! Great customer service - the lady there helped me immediately by showing me exactly what I was looking for, which was a shoe. They were competitively priced for what I've seen online and I would have been happy to support a local store over an online mega retailer.... However, she would not let me try on the shoes unless I purchased them, as some people try them on and then buy them online. What if they didn't fit right ? What if they weren't comfortable? They were half an inch shorter than what my costuming department was asking for but if they felt awesome on my feet I would have thought about getting them. I don’t usually leave reviews, however it’s a must do. I went into Razzle Dazzle to purchase my daughters dance attire for school. (Nolan Ryan) So many cute things, I wasn’t sure what to get other than what my daughter told me. Well, Ms. Valerie came to my rescue and guided me in the right direction. Just a few questions, what was it for? Which school? The name of child and she then pulls out a list of the children listed and well what do you know? Just like that, she told me everything I needed. I was so grateful! Great communication between my daughters teacher and Razzle Dazzle! Many Blessings to you Ms. Valerie....
