Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Pearland

I love this place. The tea is great and the location is perfect. I’ve been coming here with my son and I finally decided to try tapioca. The younger lady working there was so kind and suggested I tried the Oreo Wow Slush with brown sugar tapioca. I LOVED it. The older guy that is occasionally there when we go is very welcoming as well. I noticed that they hired this white guy with a beard. He is not at all welcoming or knowledgeable about the products. I ordered the Oreo Wow and didn’t realize there was a difference between the Oreo Wow and Oreo Wow Slush. I showed him the picture of the one I had order just a couple of days prior. He said he doesn’t know what that was and told me I had to show him where it said Oreo Wow. I explained to him that it was only my second time ordering it. He was very unpleasant. The younger lady came over and explained she had chosen the Oreo Wow Slush. She explained the difference and made me the Slush version. She apologized and told me to save the name for in case she isn’t there. That was amazing customer service. They either need to train the white guy or let him go. I have been meaning to try Kung Fu and we were in the area so we decided to try it out. I knew they had other locations so if I ended up liking it I could go to another location. This location was kind of tucked in the back and very small. You can’t fit too many customers in at the same time which meant they had to squeeze or stand outside to wait. It’s really only a place for to go orders only. Customer service was kind and watched them patiently explain items on the menu to customers.

Ordered Lychee punch, red bean wow, and pumpkin oolong. The drinks were good and you could really taste the flavors of lychee, pumpkin, and red bean. Pricing was fair compared to other drink stores. Size was decent as well. I wouldn’t mind trying them again, but a different location.

My younger sister and I came here while volunteering looking for a good drink to keep us occupied. I ordered a mango milk tea and a coffee brown sugar milk tea for my younger sister. I personally love mango and I believe that the taste along with the boba was a perfect combination of flavors. My sister specifically stated, "I would drink this again a thousand times." She claimed that the taste was perfect which was surprising considering she is heavily a picky person when it comes to food and drinks. The inside of the store was beautiful as well. The older details and aspects made us feel awfully welcomed due to the home-like environment. The employees were incredibly kind and respectful to their customers additionally.
