I recently had an experience at YouFit Gym that left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. The unprofessional conduct I encountered from certain staff was unacceptable and has tarnished my perception of the company.
From the intrusive and inconvenient calls from a female representative named _, to the deliberate withholding of crucial information, my experience with YouFit Gym was nothing short of disappointing. She manipulated me into a long-term membership agreement that was clearly not suitable for my needs, taking advantage of my extremely vulnerable state, that I confided in her about. She recommended the most expensive plan ($43 monthly) as the best option for me despite knowing I wouldn’t need the amenities of that plan. She watched me sign something she was verbally telling me content of (lesson learned). She assured me that I could cancel the membership at any time, and she would take care of the cancellation process herself. (she did not) Moreover, she was fully aware of the exact dates of my upcoming travels. It has since become apparent that she deliberately withheld crucial information about the cancellation policy and an annual fee ($54), despite knowing my temporary status as a non-local resident (visiting family and flying 6 times in 6 weeks), with plans to relocate (contracted job) within a month to six weeks.
When I sought resolution by speaking with the manager, Myron, he offered me a partial refund and a genuine apology and recommended that I reached out to the corporate office for the charges I was never informed about or authorized.
The corporate office responded to my request with condescending response (a picture of my signature on the contract) and no resolution for the predatory nature of my membership plan and unauthorized charges.
This experience has left me with no choice but to give YouFit Gym a one-star rating and warn others to approach with CAUTION. I am also contacted the BBB and Consumer Protection Agency.
On a positive note: The regular fitness classes are great and their instructors are friendly and knowledgeable.
Other things of note: bathrooms are usually untidy but I've only used them a handful of times. Never used the shower so can't comment on if the water pressure is good or the water is warm. never used the sauna so can't comment on that either.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and works to improve its practices and customer service in the future....

I was a consistent Youfit member who fell on hard times and could not afford the membership anymore, so they sent my account to collections in December of 2023. On January 16th of 2024 a representative from this location offered me an opportunity to remove my account from collections if I reenlisted in a membership for the new year using the promotional code, which I was more than happy to do. However afterwards I still received calls from the collection agency stating I still owed my outstanding balance. The collection agency stated they needed a correspondence from the company stating they could remove me from there records, Upon contacting the location they provided me with a customer service number to resolve the issue, after speaking with the customer service number they told me they had NO RECORD of any such situation, and they were unable to help me unless I could tell them who i spoke to. I reached out to the location who insisted that they had no knowledge of any interactions, or individuals I could have spoken with at this location. Basically providing me with no help and only giving me the option to pay my current membership as well as pay the past due balance on my other one to then have two active memberships which makes absolutely no sense. This location has been of no assistance and they are the ones that provided me with false information and lied to me. I am distraught because not only do i now have an account in collections but they have signed me up for another year entirely. Basically leaving me with little to no options. I have spoke with countless representatives and supervisors and none have been of any assistance. So i warn this location is dishonest and unethical. I do not recommend listening to any advisements from the staff at this location the only goal is to get your money and to lock you into another contract they do not care about...
Read moreStay away from YOufit! To say this is the worst gym I’ve had to deal with is an understatement. While YOuFit was closed for Corona they continued to charge me 3 months for a service that was not provided. I’ve seen the response to other reviews as les mills workout videos were provided during the closure. 1st of all at the time in which I selected my membership and cost that was decided on the value of a physical gym. Bodybeach on demand which has an expansive library of thousands of workouts is still 12 dollars a month cheaper than what I was charged by Youfit . 2nd saying that a change of service from physical to virtual can be done without giving the proper notification and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of those being charged is also saying that Youfit can change all it’s gyms to pizzerias and as long as they posted some random content online they hold the right to continue charging customers. I tried calling to cancel but was met with wait times long enough that I had to give up and get back to work. I also have LA Fitness which made sure that they didn’t charge me at all during that time. Now after I blocked YOufit from charging me they continue trying to add up past bills so now they are trying to post a charge of $139 for a 3 month period. I’ve had LA Fitness , 24 hour fitness , and premium gyms in the past. If I ever changed my card or stopped payment I’ve never had a gym act as a creditor in the way YOufit is compounding the charges for services not in use. I’ve been instructed that I have to go in person in order to cancel my membership during a time when social distancing is in place. YOuFit seems like a good deal of 10 or 20 dollars a month until you realize they charge annual fees on top of your monthly fee.
