All About Antiques — Local services in Pensacola

I am going to amend my original review due to my AFTER experience. So I was tickled pink to find this store. The owners seemed very nice and helpful. My husband and I found quite a few pieces of Mid Century Modern to go with our decor. What seemed like “help” from the owners- now looking back- was more like lurking! Every time I picked up an item one or both of the owners would grab it and say they were putting it up front. Stating “you can check it out later and make all your final choices. I agreed. A couple pieces were missing things. For instance- georges briard cheese tray- missing the chain and cheese knife. Fast forward to check out- everything was already wrapped and totaled. Long forgotten were the items we were going to “think about.” Including a 39.00 Salt and Pepper set. Shown briefly to me by the wife. When we got home after our 670.00 purchase-not unusual for us, I reached out to the owner with a couple questions. He did not directly answer them, pretty much blew me off, tried to sell me more items and told me he had “warned” me of the missing items. Uh No! We will not be going back. I don’t live in the area but was passing through & decided to stop & let me tell you, I am SO glad I did. I met the most genuine & sweet woman named Paula who welcomed me when I got there. She was so helpful & kind in chatting with me about her store & telling me about some of the things they have. Not only is it clean & welcoming but it’s sure to have something for everyone! I haven’t seen such a good selection of vintage & antique finds anywhere else in the area, no one else compares! Everything from high end furniture prices to vintage toys & tools with a tiny touch of modern finds mixed in. My most memorable finds were a vintage microphone & a year book from 1925!
