If I could give 0 stars I would. Stephanie is fraudulent. We went in to trade in a PS4 in mint condition. We called ahead to make sure they were taking trade ins and she said they were, but it could be a 15 min wait due to it being spring break weekend. We said no problems and headed there anyways since that’s the GameStop we normally go to and have made multiple purchases from with no issues. We go in and she takes the PlayStation out of the bag and bangs it on the counter from all sides. Of course, a few specks of dust come out. She told us she cannot take the PlayStation due to there being too high of a risk of something “once living” inside of it. She suggested we clean it before we bring it in for a trade. Mind you, we have already cleaned it but couldn’t get inside of the ducts that collect DUST. So, we took it to the GameStop on Creighton road and they took the trade in for $70 (the highest amount they give), and didn’t bang the PlayStation on the counter. I’m honestly just glad it worked after the abuse Stephanie put it through. If you live in Pensacola, do not go to this GameStop. Go to the one...
Read moreMy son went in there to exchange his controller, which he had purchased a warranty for they ended up telling him that he had to repurchase the pro membership to use the warranty. I ended up purchasing the pro membership online because I was not there. The associate in the store was very upset that I purchased it online and not through him because he said it would take twenty four hours and that we would have to come back the next day. I told my son to just go to a different game stop.He ended up going to another one and they exchanged the controller and used the warranty without us having to buy the pro membership. I can't be certain that they were pulling a fast one, but it certainly feels that way.As I called corporate and they also said, we did not need to have the pro membership to use the warranty. The whole thing seemed very shady. I called later and spoke to a young lady about the situation. She didn't have much to say about it. Im sure this is happening a lot. So I would think twice about going in here to...
Read moreTried to buy some games here on Black Friday last year. Told my younger brother to hold my spot in the long line while I continued looking, and then a worker asked to see what games he had so she could pull them out so theyd be ready when it was our turn at the register. I came back and the lady who was the manager, at least for that shift, said she would not sell us the games because they were rated M and my brother was a minor. I argued that the M games were for me, an adult, I was just continuing to look around since the line was so long; but she refused to sell them to me since my brother was the one holding it at the time that she had asked. Kept saying she didn't want to get sued but that's surely not true. Worst Gamestop experience yet. And we literally walked to the Gamestop right across the street and bought the same...
