I spent around 2 hours or more on April 25, 2025 in your Sandusky store to pick out a couch, recliner, bed frame, mattress and a Temperpedic adjustable bed. I paid $4,700 down and financed the remainder of approximately $2,700 (which I plan on paying off within the next couple of days. I was originally told that my purchases will be shipped in âtwo separate orders on May 6 and May 8 (May 11 at the latest) by the salesman and whom I believe was the manager of the store. When it got close to my delivery date, I called to check on my delivery times. It was then that I was told that one part of my order was scheduled for MAY 21!!! I was able to call back and talk to an actual agent. I THEN found out that the matress and adjustable part of my bed was âon back orderâ!! Finally the âfirst orderâ arrived in the 21st and lo and behold, the side rails to my bed were the wrong ones ordered by the salesman and store âmanagerâ. I purchased a gray/black barn wood style bed. I was told by the driver that they were âbrown and the wrong setup to attach to my bed!!! They delivered my couch, recliner, headboard and footboard. THEN I was told the ârestâ of my order will come in TWO MORE deliveries one on May 28th and the rest on June 4th!!! By this time I was furious to say the least!!! I argued with a lady named Jenny for approximately 1/2 hour over the phone. She finally looked âfurther into the delivery datesâ and I was told that the second delivery on June 4 can actually arrive with the other delivery on May 28!she found out that the order for June 4 was NOT on back order as was previously told to me!! I told her that it was âTOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLEâ for the way Iâve been treated since I purchased the items!!! I explained to her that all the bs Iâve been put through and the lie after lie that was told to me I will NEVER buy from Ashley again nor will I EVER recommend you to my worst enemy!!! I feel like all that your company has put me through, I should be given a discount on my remaining balance!! I still donât know FOR SURE if Iâm getting the rest of my bed on May 28 since I was originally told that I would have two separate deliveries for the remainder of my bed. Letâs start with the delivery guys were modern day Cheech and Chong stoners. They brought in the furniture and then looked utterly confused and asked âum did you order a mattress?â When Alli answered yes they said well we have your furniture and not your mattress. She asked them to check and they responded the computer system at Ashleyâs is down. The irony of that statement is THREE WEEKS AGO when they went in to purchase the bedroom set were told the computer systems were down then too and all orders went through one store. How on earth does it take 3 weeks to solve this problem???? It doesnât take NASA computer engineers to solve this, this is a problem easily handled by a first year computer science major. When her husband went in to complain seeing as the customer service line is non existent and no one answers was told a common they had no record of a mattress being ordered. When he stated he was so frustrated he wanted a refund he was told the standard answer âthere are no refundsâ he then demanded a bed, when they finally relented and gave him a temp bed which was substandard to what they purchased they didnât even help him load it into his truck, this is unacceptable. What Ashley furniture doesnât realize is they have a legally binding contract complete with an offer, consideration and acceptance which is in the purchase agreement. That agreement was breached for services not rendered. Now Iâm SURE the generic response will be issued with âgive us an opportunity to fix thisâ followed but the number to text or email. This is unacceptable. A more plausible route I suggested was a chargeback to the merchant for fraud and services not rendered. A compromised can be reached in the form of a HIGH discount. I ordered a mattress and box spring back in July, and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery with everything going on right now which is completely understandable. So my delivery day came and they were on time, And the guys were extremely nice, but my box spring would not fit up the stairway in my house. I was told that they would send a split next time, and my delivery was rescheduled.. a few weeks go by and my next delivery date comes, and they sent the exact same thing, and I missed work to be home for the delivery. After that the salesperson finally texted me and gave me options for a different box spring, but I had ordered a bed from the website and no longer needed a box spring so I called to cancel. She was unavailable, and apparently no one else could help me, and a few days later I get another email saying I had a delivery scheduled.. I was already irritated so I just said whatever Iâll just take it since they obviously arenât willing to work with me on it.. now here I am delivery day for the THIRD time and THEY SENT THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN! I called the store and my sales person said that there is nothing I can do because I signed a âcontractâ, so I can either get the box spring that I donât want, or pay a restock fee for an item that I HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED! I was finally done arguing and said that I will just pay the fee, so she told me that someone would call me back on Monday and then hung up on me!
