Mr. Hero in Sandusky Ohio — Restaurant in Perkins Township

I don't really eat fast food or fast casual, but if & when I do a couple times a year its at Mr. Hero. I've recently been plaqued as the last few visits to random locations across the cleveland market same problem multiples times, and it drives me crazy, so much so that I asked them to remake my order at an east side location a few months back and the attitude I received from behind the counter I ended up leaving my 30 dollar order behind. It's simply an attention to detail that drives me crazy. I ask politely and more than once, please minus tomato, onion, and mayo, please... why is this so hard, needless the savings potential to the restaurant if you add up all the minus products.. tomatoes aren't cheap right now, nor are onions.. why can't we get an order correct? This sadly is not the first time.. I'm sorry, I can't stand tomatoes. I truly wish i did unfortunately i can even tell if they were removed, and they just take over my tastes, so please when a customer dropping 20 dollars on a meal can't even eat it because well.. breaking my heart Mr. Hero. I can't...

We are headed home to Detroit from Great Wolf Lodge & wanted something quick to eat. Wish I could give the lady at the front counter a raise, as we’ve never been we took a bit longer to order as we glanced over the menu a few times. She explained top sandwiches, what she recommends. Sonia was incredibly kind & sweet. I mentioned wanting to try them last night but they were closed by the time we needed dinner, she mentioned yeah they close at 8pm but they worked a long day as staff is hard to find. She was so positive about having a job she loved & thankful to work even though having two of them can be tough at times.

I had not had Mr. Hero in yrs so after an appointment in the area while on Rt.250 bam 💥 and I'm going in! I was amazed at the cleanliness of this restaurant first then I was greeted with a big "Welcome to Mr.Hero how can I help you"! The enthusiasm of this gentleman was so on point! I do order the Roman Burger #1 Large Waffle Fries with Cheese, Large Soda Pop. $18.00 well prices are up everywhere I'm starving and I want Mr. Hero! It was so bleeping good! The whole experience gets two thumbs up! I definitely will be back and most definitely recommend...
