Momma Tried Sports Cards-Sandusky — Local services in Perkins Township

I really don't know where to begin. I will say this I have both positive and negative things to say about this location.

POSITIVES: The store is very nicely laid out and easy to move around without feeling cramped. They have 25cent, 50cent and dollar box's as well as showcases full of cards. This is great I love that. They also have a HUGE selection of sealed product it is easily the focal point of the store.

NEGATIVES: The issue I often find when I stop in the store is that there is often times cards in the showcases that are cool but they are well overpriced the market value. Even if you are strictly looking for a PC card they are still overpriced to the point where you unfortunately have to walk away. Another negative is that the store employee's are not often times able to negotiate pricing unless its a bigger card and even to that point they will offer like 50 bucks off a sticker of 950.00 (it last sold for 325).

Now that they have a new location in Avon the store often times seems to switch value box's and where they keep them at. The problem with that is there is no way of knowing what boxes are at...

Been to the Sandusky locations a few times. Today I brought my boy into both locations to sell some cards and buy some boxes to rip. Everyone I've dealt with was real nice to my boy. They didn't belittle or talk down to him, and made his day. Thank you so much for being respectful and keeping the spark alive with my boys hobby. As far as prices go, paying a little higher sits well with us, as everything we've bought here has had way better pulls than...

This place is a joke. Walked in with a few very rare and valuable pokemon cards to see what they could give me for them. The guy said he knows absolutely nothing about pokemon, that he's "not the right guy", and that I'm better off on ebay. Its not that we disagreed on a price or anything like that, it literally didn't get that far. He didn't know or understand the value of pokemon cards. Mind you, there is a GIANT sign hanging above their store that says...
