I came through the drive through last week and ordered a bacon egg and cheddar on a sesame bagel. There was one car in front of me and it took forever for them to get served and even longer to get my order. The employee at the window was pleasant enough but the service at this location always seems extremely slow. I got my order and headed to the office only to open my bagel and find out that it was burnt. I am sure that added to my waiting. I can’t believe they served it that way but of course being in the takeout line I would be long gone before I realized there was an issue so why not. I could not eat the bagel. I called the store and was asked what time I was there and then was told that the person I needed to speak with was on the phone and would call me back. I’m still waiting for the call. I emailed but reached corporate that has nothing to do with this location. The price of their bagels are expensive and I am extremely upset with how the owners of this store run their business. If I could rate you with a...
Read moreWaited for 30 minutes to get our food. When we finally got around the corner 2 staff members were in front of my car smoking cigarettes. They must do it often because the drive thru is littered with hundreds of them. The staff members didn’t seem to care that a car was there for so long while they smoked interestingly enough when they finally went back inside our breakfast was given to us in about 5 minutes. Management really should get involved. It was not ideal for a professional as myself to run late for an appointment and be blocked in the drive thru from even being able to leave due to the staff members standing in the drive through smoking and talking rather than working as they are paid to do. I usually don’t leave reviews but this seemed like something that needed to be said. If the bagels weren’t so good (all you have to do is follow a recipe) I would’ve given one star. Not worth the 30 minutes or having to roll my windows down on 19 to air out the cigarette smell....
Read moreWhere do I begin? Great selection of bagels and coffees. Didn't know Caribou Coffee was as good as Starbucks', but given that it costs only $2.11, I would venture to say it's even better. My Supernova Nova Lox cost only $8.49 and normally clocks in at 510 Cal with a whopping 23g protein. But as I am diabetic, I was offered a yummy toasted garlic bagel that was "thintastic" and which therefore = about 33% of the normal carb ratio. So the lox bagel, which is normally high-calorie due to the salmon (lachs is the yiddish word for salmon btw) has only 430-450 Cal. Double-dare you to find another bagel shop anywhere (like nationwide) that offers a whole separate menu of those! So yes, fellow Type 2's, especially those who must inject insulin during the day, this is a place for one of those rare days each month when you allow yourself the indulgence of eating out. Managers Steve and Tina are friendly and attentive even...
