DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY !!! Horrible online shopping experience and HORRID customer service!
I ordered a tea kettle for my wife for Christmas and was promptly emailed the order information. I called the store a few days later to confirm shipment, as I hadn't received any tracking information. I was told that I needed to speak with Mrs. Cutler and that she wasn't in. Left a phone number and email (wouldn't that be in my order info?). Mrs. Cutler didn't return my call. I call again and was told I needed to speak with Mrs. Cutler's daughter as she handles all the online orders, but she's not in either. Leave my phone number again, and again the call goes unreturned. All I'm asking for is tracking information.
This goes on for a number of days. DAYS. All I'm asking for is tracking information and now the holiday is fast approaching. I would like to know if the kettle will arrive on time. After nearly a week, I am finally told that the online ordering system jumbled my order with someone else's address and that someone else received my kettle... but we're rushing to send out another this very minute...
Now, I ask you, how many online ordering systems are capable of jumbling up the ordered items and the recipient's addresses? That's right, none! I've ordered from small companies from across the world and by gosh, the packages somehow, magically, SHOW UP.
The kicker is this: Ten minutes after I'm told they're rushing to send me a kettle, I get a call from Mrs. Cutler at the number I used when placing the order ( a different number from the one I've been leaving with them this whole time (funny, considering my info got jumbled with someone else's in their system)) telling me they don't have another in stock...
But we can order you another... Refund my credit card please. We can send you a little gift card saying the item is on the way... REFUND MY CREDIT CARD. It will arrive in January... CANCEL. THE. CHARGE. TO. MY. CREDIT. CARD!!
What a wreck. What nonsense.
Don't do it, my friends. Don't do it. Save yourself the headache....

I emailed their customer service address, no response. I email again a week later, no response. I call, they tell me they will call me back, no response. I email again and call again, the person I need to talk to isnāt in right now, please call back later. I call back later, they still arenāt in, they will call me back. Finally I talk with someone when it was convenient for them: they lost or never processed half my order and claimed that the emails went to my spam box (they did not, I received confirmation emails for the first item just fine) They say they are sending out the order ASAP and should be here in under 10 days. It has been 15 more days so Iām officially filing a dispute with my credit card. They never did respond to ANY of my emails or call with a follow up. What a joke, will never shop here again. Do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't shop at Cutlers I have never been treated so rudely by a clerk. I was vacationing from Minnesota and saw a rug I was interested in but I did not have the measurements with me. I inquired about the name of the rug so I could order it when I returned home, all of which I explained to the clerk. She seemed reluctant to give me the information and then stated that they were in the business of making money and not giving things away. I was shocked. I became angry and told her I was planning on ordering it from them but needed the name of the rug. She finally gave me an item number specific to their web site. She could have given me that number initially, without insulting me, and still prevented me from ordering it from somewhere else. I took the number and threw it in the garbage when I left....
