Scooby's Bottle Shop — Local services in Petoskey

Scooby is the MAN!!! And he has selected great employees to work at this unique bottle shop...every time im in at this location, even if I have to cash in returnables, (don't forget to wash your returnables first, before bringing them in please, we are still dealing with a pandemic 😉 ) or if im paying with change, or a mix of returnable and change, when im short on finances. Or just getting rid of returnables, Its the same when im paying with cash. Scooby, and the other employees always help me, and treat me with great respect. Its where I buy my vernors!!! 😋 And they have a great liquor selection and a great locationt. They are right on the highway, one can get gas at the mobile, and head right next door to scoobies bottle shop and purchase your favorite liquor and soda. All at a great price! Please....Don't forget...

I goto this place A LOT. I like the place. The staff is generally pretty awesome. However, I went there today at 9:45pm... and although the open sign was lit.... and they don't close til 11pm today... the door was locked. No note, or any sort of indication as to why the door was locked.... just what looked to be a heavily used white Chevy Aveo or similiar vehicle parked outside. Scoobys is my goto place if i'm gonna pick up something on my way home from work, but.... it's super irritating to get a store you KNOW is supposed to be open, and find a locked door while a neon "Open" sign is actively lit next to it. I ended up stopping at the gas station up the road... and I will probably continue to do so, because i've never found them to be locked,...

Someone stole my wallet 2 weeks back. Got a paper i.d until my new one comes in. I was born in the 80s for heavens sake. bald dude was on some power trip asked me for an i.d. didn't ask the guy in front for an i.d but wouldn't sell me a little half pint. Smh. Been in there 4 times over the weekend with no problems but I'm seriously starting to hate these cash register people out here thinking there God or something. Hate to say it but they deserve there 12 dollar n hour or...
