It should be shared at the register that ‘seasonal items’ can’t be returned before they are bought. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a store that literally specializes in ‘seasonal items’ doesn’t take them back with a receipt. I bought an ornament on 12/22, the same day that they now have a sign at the register that says items can’t be returned past this day (which wasn’t posted when I bought the item). I’ve never checked out with a non returnable item where it wasn’t shared at the register for any store, aside from this one I guess. Why wasn’t I told this as I was checking out? Why wasn’t the item marked as nonreturnable? Horrible customer service and such a risky business practice in a shopping center where there are so many other stores you can buy from that will take items back if needed, take your business elsewhere as I will be from now on. I actually never do this but today I had the worse experience here. My sister and our children walked in and from the moment we walked in we faced hostility from an elder lady working this morning on 9/16/25. We walked in wanting to look for holiday decor for interior but kept getting the dirtiest looks from the worker there. We weren’t greeted but all the other YT people got a graceful good morning. She kept asking us what we wanted and why we were there. She was starring at my sister through the isles and I stared back letting her know I was catching on to what she was doing. I recently was in the store to return a Vera Bradley bag. I was told I would wipe her out of most of her cash. She offered credit and I even was going to take part cash and part credit ,but she said she had to do one or the other, so I went with my cash. One day later I took my niece back and as we were checking out the owner was telling the girls about me and the incident. First of all the owner should have extra money in the back to take care of customers bringing any item back!! Second she should not discuss this in the middle of the store.
