I’ve been a big fan of aritzia for years now and was excited when I found out they were coming to the city, since the closest location til now has been KOP. The shopping experience here was fantastic, every single employee there was helpful and kind. I mean every single one, they all helped me find the sizes I needed, gave helpful feedback, checked in during my shopping experience and made me feel welcome. I understand it’s a store and they want my money but that’s what I call customer service. It really makes a difference when a store goes above and beyond in how they treat you. I was already going to spend my money there, them being so warm and friendly just enhances the experience.
I will say the one thing I don’t like is that the changing rooms are open and clearly meant for people to sit around. So if you go shopping your mom or friend they can sit and wait for you in the middle of the dressing room. This does mean all genders are functionally in the dressing room space and since not every dressing stall has a mirror you have to go into the main area to see your fit. Means you’ll need a top and bottom since it’s mixed gender company. It also means depending on the store congestion you might be competing for mirror space or having to navigate around someone else. On the other hand I’m an extrovert and liked talking to other shoppers and getting/ giving feedback.
In any case, this only further endeared me to the store. I’ll...
Read moreI purchased a hoodie in store the other day and wanted matching shorts to go with it that were not available in store. I had asked a girl at the front if she could check the availability for the shorts for me because it said only a few left online and I specifically clarified I only wanted the hoodie if I had the matching shorts to go with it as a lot of things at aritzia come in sets. She checked the inventory and said there were several left and told me she will know 100% if she goes to place the order whether or not they have it available, which she ended up saying there was availability and I could get these shorts. I received a receipt in my email but never got a confirmation email for the shorts and any type of shipment update which I thought was weird. 2 days later I receive a refund receipt saying my order was cancelled. I called the aritzia I went to and a girl who answered stated the worker who reassured the shorts were available should’ve never promised me that they were and would come and that she’s not sure why they would do that. She spoke in a passive aggressive manner and acted as if I was dumb for expressing my confusion about the refund. I was frustrated about the order cancellation but didn’t care to put a review up until I spoke on the phone with the girl who displayed nothing but an attitude...
Read moreI had high hopes coming to this location , there was a black girl who wore an all pink outfit with her hair in a bun who was pretty rude and made this a not so great shopping experience. I tried on a peplum shirt with the limitless pant . The pants fit great but I asked for help with zipping up the top in a medium. The sales associate touches the top (doesn’t actually try) and says “I’m going to be honest you may need to go up a size.” I said that’s absolutely fine. She suggested trying it on in a different color and getting the color I wanted shipped to my house. I’m traveling rn and I work remote so I would’ve preferred to just shop in store (Philly is my hometown, but I no longer live here & Aritzia is not close to me). After trying on the bigger size you could visibly see that it was too big. So then the associate suggest I try back on the medium and try again. I declined , and the associate says, “Interesting”. I had more items to try on and it was closer to the time they were closing, but because I liked the pants I would just try it on with a different styled shirt. I don’t know the purpose of making that comment but it was enough for me to say I’ll just order offline and do a pick up & if I could’ve went to KOP that evening I would’ve for a...
