I was blown away by Wendy's approach, knowledge, and manner. I have been looking at your sectionals for as long as they have been in the King of Prussia Mall. Every time I discussed the product with representatives there, I received pricing for only one option: one that costs almost $10,000. It even looks ridiculous and unreachable in print. I happened into your Philly store last week while shopping for clothes with a friend; I saw the Lovesac sign and decided to show her the sectional I loved but would never buy. Then I met Wendy and her adorable dog Tess. I was immediately at ease, and not just because I was no longer considering buying. Wendy wasn't at all salesy, just matter-of-fact and casual, like we were having a conversation. I'm not even sure Wendy told me her name. (I hope that's her name, the tall beautiful blonde.) Anyway, Wendy opened my eyes to another option: starting with just a few pieces during the upcoming flash sale, then adding on later (or not) during future sales. She showed me all the arrangements I could make with just four to six pieces and reminded me that I could add a piece or two at a time, maybe order a second set of covers at some point, etc. Suddenly I saw your products in a completely different way. I knew they were modular and interchangeable before, but suddenly they seemed a lot more possible for me, and therefore more intriguing. She gave me four different quotes to look at, no urgency or pressure. My friend and I left to continue shopping, and Wendy didn't push about the sale dates or try to get me to commit to a next step. But she had planted a seed no one else had. I discussed the new approach and quotes with my fiancé, who was still skeptical. Two days later we took two trains into Philly so that I could introduce him to Wendy and order the couch from her rather than the mall down the street from my house. He was as impressed and excited as I was. We ordered our first six pieces and sides and can't wait get them. I'm about 99% sure we'll start adding more pieces over the next year or so, and 100% sure we'll recommend Lovesac to our...
Read moreFirst of all, let's talk about the fantastic customer service. Garry really listened to us and what we were looking for. We mentioned we were going to be on vacation, and he ensured that our couch would be delivered when we were back home. We said we liked the green fabric colors and he was able to hook us up with a green option we really liked. It wasn't a hard sell. He was super patient and attentive while juggling us and another set of customers. He went above and beyond and was just wonderful. Any employer would be lucky to have such a conscientious employee. Give this man a raise!
We are so excited to get our new couch! Can you get a cheaper option? Of course. But is it modular? Can you easily move the pieces around for a variety of seating options? Can you add pieces to it? Can you replace the cushions if they get worn? Can you replace the fabric if you get tired of it? Can you wash the covers? (Instead of getting a brand new couch when these things need to be updated?) Can you use it as a bed? Can you easily move the pieces around? (I have to imagine that between young children, the elderly, and the disabled - this offers so many options for their safety and comfort.) Is it crazy comfortable? You're paying for a level of flexibility and longevity with Lovesac you're not going to get anywhere else.
We've been couch shopping for ourselves, with family and friends, and this is hands down the best couch we've ever experienced. In fact, we had just come from Bo Concept, which was having a store closing sale with discounted floor model furniture, prior to popping into Lovesac. It cost less money to get a brand new couch at Lovesac vs. the modular floor samples at Bo Concept. It wasn't even a competition.
We're looking forward to having our Lovesac for years to come. We highly recommend checking out a store and buying your next couch there....
Read moreMy husband and i have been shopping for a new seating area in our home for about 6 months. We were on a visit to Philadelphia and just for a comparative interest we stopped into Lovesac on Walnut St. We had never heard of the Lovesac product line but did that change fast! Our service expert was Garry Bess Jr. And he was just that... expert in his knowledge of the product, completely aware of all competitors and able to speak fluidly as to the price points and in stock availability. He explained in detail the purchasing protocol, financing ins and outs, shipping expectations and thoroughly demonstrated how the seating was built from Sean Nelson's dream to putting the sections together in our home. We couldn't have been more informed and perfectly satisfied with the product through representation and service. Garry stayed 2 hours late that friday evening to supply us with the confidence we needed to complete the purchase. Less than one week later we received the sofa, assembled it without any trouble, thanks to Garry's hands on training! We found we need to make one small exchange to accommodate our living space. We called Philadelphia and Garry is processing the needed change with great alacrity . We are impressed and thankful for the experience we had with Lovesac and in our estimation Lovesac should be duly impressed and thankful for his faithful employ. Sincerely, Chris and...
