Final edit to say the issue has been rectified and I did receive my April refund!! While it was definitely a pain, I still have to say the folks I talked to were so nice. I’ll continue to recommend this garage to family and friends for daily parking!!
Edited to add: I was charged AGAIN for April parking. I checked here and saw the response and called the given number, who directed me to call his assistant. I called her, and she was very nice! She said she couldn’t only refund the April charge (not her fault, policy, would be reflected by Friday) and cancel my account. It’s Friday and the charge is still reflected and my account is still active. This should not be this hard.
Original review: I enjoyed parking here for almost two years, but unfortunately my experience cancelling as I no longer need the spot has been ridiculous.
I was willing to deal with hiccups (i.e. issues with my autopay, and communication, filling up the garage and turning us away even while paying for monthly 24/7 parking, and raised rates) because for the most part the man who seems to run the garage is a real pleasure to work with.
However, I no longer need the spot. I cancelled online and honored the 30-day cancellation policy, even though that paid for 10 days of parking I didn't need. They billed me for the month after cancellation. I disputed the invoice online, called (no answer) and (for good measure) re-cancelled online. I was notified a few days ago of another $200 invoice posted to my account for next month, when I haven't parked there since February and have already paid for a month I'm not using, and have cancelled twice! My calls aren't being returned and the only folks there when I stop in are those who work for the rental car company that works out of the garage. I am giving up and will be paying to put the stop payment on my card.
In summary, great location for day parking, but don't enroll in regular parking. Cancelling...
Read moreI was sitting at the lobby after 10 PM on Monday, December 4th waiting for my friends to come back to the garage to pick up the car. They had went to the Flyers game and I underestimated when they would get back as I was there for about 30 minutes. It was near freezing outside so I was bundled up when coming in. A security guard walks by once and sees me. Next time he sees me and says "Are you okay?" then said they don't allow homeless people to be here.
Train your security guards to assume less. I had my friend's SpotHero reservation on me or could have provided the license plate. I regret not having my friend's car keys because I would have rather stayed in the car knowing I was early. I didn't know which door they would come from so I was looking around a bit since we live out of state and first time using this facility. If you are so concerned about access to the lobby at night, put codes to get in or have an actual security guard...
Read moreI purchased parking a month in advance at Broad and Vine Garage. When I arrived today (3-5-24), they had overbooked and/or resold my pre-paid parking! There were no spots and many cars circling the 8 levels. So I had to drive around and search 30+ mintues for last minute parking elsewhere at 4x the price in another garage (AFTER already prepaying here, for a booking they didn't honor). This is not only bad management, it's fraud. DO NOT PARK HERE. AND CERTAINLY NEVER PRE-PAY PARKING. Besides the major last minute parking hastle, just try to get them to refund your money. Certainly, this isn't the 1st time this is occuring... they should issue immediate refunds on the spot, just as quickly as they took my payment. WHY spend your time and $ running after these fraudsters to get YOUR OWN MONEY BACK, when THEY fail to deliver a paid service... DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY IN THE...
