If I could give 0 stars, I will. Our tour guide was Ann, and she was the worst ever tour guide we ever had. Let's start with the fact that she even knew where to go (a group of 10).Ok, we found our way to the 7th floor, where, surprise, nobody was there to open the gate for the second elevator to go to the top ( 22nd floor). Finally, after nearly 10 minutes, someone came to open the elevator, which was very small. 4 people and the guide. Here we had the second surprise the guide didn't know how to operate the elevator and you could feel her panicking and make as nervous. We get up to the top where she didn't say anything about any buildings, and the truth be told at that time we was done and didn't enjoy the beautiful view. At this point, the only thing we wanted to do was just to leave . Easy to say that do. Our guide didn't know how to operate the elevator to get down, and we called Gregg the maintenance to explain to us how to get down. It was the worst experience ever, and on top of that, we paid $16 per person to nearly have a panic attack. After we finally got down to the 7th floor, she forgot about the other people from our group, and we need to guide her on how to get back to them. When we touched the ground, we got to the visitor center to speak with the manager, but he was in a meeting somewhere else. I am still waiting for his phone call. DISAPPOINTED IT'S NOT...

Wow! Thank you the staff at city hall! We had the best experience. I travelled with my seven year old twin daughters to spend the day in Philly (visiting from the UK). I’m a keen trip researcher so was lucky to find that the city hall has a tower. We booked our tickets an hour before we visited online.

The process is so simple and tickets were reasonably priced, if you take into account that you’re probably the only one going up the tower as it is max 4 people per tour. The guide stays with you as you have to go through closed off areas of city hall. We loved everything about it. And we had a great guide (John). Thanks so much for your patience with us. The girls loves everything we saw and everything you told us. Will definitely be coming back.

The views are amazing from the top. It’s an adventure going up there in the first place as you need to use two different elevators and an escalator. The last elevator was such an experience as you can see the inside structures of the tower and the clocks!

It is my second trip to Philly (I was here 8 years ago and loved the city). One of my favourite cities to visit. Not over crowded and compact enough to get around. I did tell one group we met in the Love Park about the city hall tower and they had no idea it was open to...

When I visited Philly every time I passed city hall I couldn’t help but take a picture of it I find it so pretty. So when we saw you can take a tour to the top we went for it. I’m so glad we did. We had purchased tickets ahead of time but since we’re out of town idiots we didn’t really think about how gray the sky was and so there really wasn’t going to be a view. Thankfully the people at the visitor center are really sweet so they told us to come later and hopefully the sky will clear up, which it did. The tours seem to be given by all older volunteers and they are so lovely. Cynthia and John took us on the tour and told us lots of great information and were sweet and personable. They even took us to see some really beautiful rooms even beyond the lookout view which we really appreciated. It was a great way to spend a random Tuesday. Of note it was really hard for us to find the visitor center because Google doesn’t seem to know where it is. We asked random people until one lovely woman was able to help us. Additionally the email we got told us to pick up our tickets at the Independence Visitor Center which is a 20 minute walk away…I’m glad I called to clarify that indeed you do NOT...

Excellent guided tour inside the city hall and its tower with a climb to the top where you can admire the panorama of the city. Prepared and very good guide. Beautiful experience. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to visit Philadelphia and see it from a different perspective.
