City Nails — Local services in Philadelphia

I wanted to get my nails done for saint patty’s day but I didn’t know what salon I should go to so I asked my friend and she suggested city nails. After reading reviews I was a little worried and considered going to another salon but city was the only place open so With low expectations I went in and was surprised when I found it was completely different then reviews say. They did my full set acrylics for only $20 and the staff there was so nice I even watched them let an old woman come inside and wait for her ride because it was too cold for her outside. Obviously this is just my opinion but the place across the street is no better I went their a few times and each time they were rude, disrespectful, and completely messed up my nails. Service was efficient & the nails look pretty decent. Before you go here, a word of advice: do not get acrylics here, only regular or gel mani’s. I took my acrylics off 2 weeks ago and my natural nails are still breaking, peeling, and incredibly thin. My nail beds are sore & red. I called ahead and showed up about an hour later. I got a gel manicure with nail art and pedicure. Prices are reasonable for the area. The ladies who did my mani & pedi were so sweet and both did excellent work. She even asked another colleague for help with my ingrown toenail and I’ve never seen anyone take care of it so seamlessly! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it came out perfect!
