Unfortunately, I had a really unexpected and unfortunate experience at Gorjana in Philadelphia. I have bought from this store before and almost all of my jewelry is from here. I have recommended it to many people and it is one of my favorite jewelry stores. One of my reasons I have continued to buy from gorjana is because of their happiness guarantee policy and it makes me feel secure buying fine jewelry there in case it gets damaged that they will fix it. Today, I went in and asked the sales associate if I could get a bracelet repaired because the clasp was broken. She told me they didn't do repairs and went to go help another client. I waited for her to come back and then asked again if she was sure because I had gotten a necklace replaced there and online it states that it is their policy to repair or replace jewelry for the happiness guarantee. She then started raising her voice at me and said "I don't know who told you that but that's not true." I showed her the online policy on my phone and then she got very angry and yelled at me further saying that I was wrong and that I could email customer service. I was honestly in shock and so embarrassed and everyone in the store was staring at me. I left immediately and definitely will not be back to that location unless that person is not working there. Unfortunately had an unpleasant experience at Gorjana yesterday. I went in browsing and looking at necklaces. All the staff politely greeted other customers except for me. One employee eventually came up to me and I told her what I was looking for, I tried on a necklace but decided not to get it. After she took the necklace off me she dipped so quickly and left me, without any follow up to our necklace convo. I thought she was helping me with other necklace options but I felt pretty helpless immediately seeing that she just left after. Very pretty store. Great variety. Really friendly helpful staff. Stylish and well priced jewelry that are fun to treat yourself to or buy as a gift. They have more affordable gold plated jewelry as well as more expensive fine jewelry. I got a necklace and charm here as well as pair of earrings that I get compliments on all the time.
