La Cucina at the Market — Local services in Philadelphia

After purchasing two tickets. I received a call the day prior before the cooking class from another lady who works at La Cucina telling me that I hadn’t picked up the box of ingredients. I told her that I wasn’t attending that I gave away the tickets to another couple as I told Anna. I then was informed that the class was being held virtual which took me someday by surprise since I got off the phone with Anna a week or two beforehand talking exactly about this and she told me the class was going be held at La Cucina and it wasn’t going to be virtual. I also asked her if all the ingredients would be in the box that we were gettijg and she said yes. I asked again just to clarify and she said we don’t need anything else.I come to find out that there was only about 25$ with of stuff in the box NOT including the Marscapone the rigotta which are one of the most expensive ingredients that was going to be used. I do feel that the communication was poor and that it would have been great to see beforehand that the class was going to be held virtually if not on the receipt. And for the amount of 200$ I could have easily looked on YouTube on how to make it. I felt it was extremely overpriced for a zoom class. They didn’t refund my money or even partly refund it but they offered me credit to another class after the covid goes away. If I do decide to go there I hope for better communication then what I...
