I received the poorest service for an expensive spa pedicure and gel manicure on 3/20/25 the massage was shorter than a regular pedicure, no time frame set so they do what they want, however they want, Iām use to places that actually set a 10min timer. I didnāt get the steamer that was listed, the green tea kit smelt very manly and I was not warned. Then she got mad when I spoke to the manager about a partial discount for receiving partial service. It took them ten minutes to find the steamer after the pedicure was already done while she was doing my nails. One of my gel nails chipped badly the next day and another on the third day. The color was black. I wasnāt able to return within the short timeframe for free repair. I tried but they closed early that day. I called to leave a message but no one got back with me, so I had to just suffer with it. Because of the convenient location, and the manager giving me $9 off for the disservice, I went in there today 4/1/25 and got ONLY a gel manicure and received poor service again!!! The young man used a bowl of cold water and told me to dip my hands in and then he removed the bowl when I said it was cold. He barely wanted to cut my cuticles, only cutting on the sides. So I asked him why is he leaving the top had to ask him to do the top, heās fearing that it will bleed. I asked him to do it and there was no blood. I could see without my glasses that my cuticles needed to be cut. They also try to leave a lot of space between the nail and cuticle when polishing, if you donāt say anything, so did the First Lady. He told me he was done after he smeared some cuticle oil on my fingers and wiped it off with a hard dry rag. I said no lotion? no hot wet rag? He said you want hot rag? I said thatās ok, no tip. I went to the cashier to pay and I asked her about the services and she started speaking loud and agitated calling him over and he starts lying like I refused. I asked her to calm down and that I did not ask to speak to him and that Iām asking you if when you get a manicure are your hands supposed to soak in a bowl of warm water? She calmed down and said yes. Do you suppose to get a short hand massage with lotion? She said yes, Do you suppose to get a hot moist towel wrap? She said yes. I said well I didnāt receive none of that. He was standing right there with out a care in the world and walked away. Neither one of them cared. And the manager, working in the first chair was just looking, she...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to start by saying I visited this salon before for a pedicure and was satisfied so I decided to return after seeing that they have an affordable deal Monday-Wednesday and the convenient location.
I came in to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Tiffany started on my pedicure and everything was going well until I asked her to fix the polish on one of my toes as it didnāt look as evenly distributed as I would want. When I spoke up about it, she proceeded to go back and forth with me and after I was still adamant about wanting it fixed she caught an attitude. Janet came over and could see exactly what I was talking about and it was only then that Tiffany agreed to fixing it. She doesnāt seem to respond to any sort of criticism very well.
Moving on to my gel manicure which was done by Janet. Before doing the gel manicure, her & Tiffany said I had to pay first and that it was the āmanagers rulesā as per the sign posted in the front. The sign posted in the front says customers need to pay before receiving ANY service. (We should also note that last time I visited I didnāt have to pay until AFTER the service.) So if that were the case, why didnāt I have to pay before my pedicure? Of course no one had the answer to that. There was also another customer in there at the time that came in before me and didnāt have to pay first. It was at that point that I felt like I was being profiled simply because I spoke up about not liking how one of my toes looked. I ended up paying some of the total before the manicure and they interrogated me asking when Iām paying the rest. To which I replied I will pay the rest when I feel satisfied with how my nails look. Making me feel even more uncomfortable.
As Iām sure anyone would think, If Iām paying for a service I expect it to be done to my liking. No one wants to pay for something that they arenāt satisfied with.
I ended up letting Janet finish my nails but I will not return due to the lack of customer satisfaction provided, feeling profiled and the horrible attitude I was given. None of this is worth the small...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually don't leave negative reviews for places but my first experience here was very poor. I made an advance appointment for 3:00 today and nobody even came to start my nails until 3:45. All one woman did was shave them down and then I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a second woman to put dip on them. Once my nails were half way done she told me she would be back in 5 minutes. In the time she walked away she did an entire manicure for another patron who arrived long after me, as well as did an eyebrow and facial wax for another. She doesn't resume my nails until 25 minutes later. At 4:45 as she does my nails she proceeds to tell me how unhealthy my nail beds are, that biting my nails is a dirty habit, and told me a different employee couldn't even attempt my nails because of it (Extremely rude and useless to say at this point because my nails are almost done. Also I've NEVER been told this by a nail tech before) At 4:50 I get up to leave. She makes a scene and apologizes frantically for making me late and as I'm counting her tip money she says "Here I'll help you," takes the cash out of my hands and tips herself $15 (33% of my bill. I barely intended to tip 20% at this point) I had somewhere to be at 5 so I rushed out as soon as I could. I can tell that this place was understaffed and busy today and I tried to be as understanding as possible but this was incredibly unfortunate. The nails look good...
