I rent from this location frequently for work. I had a rental prior to the facility closing early for the Easter Holiday, the guy working displayed horrible customer and I filled a complaint. I asked for my reservation to be adjusted as I could not do so in the app. I assume he did it and swiped my card. Policy not to swipe same card twice is a 24 hour period, need another card. Time prevented me from being able to get a new card and return as they closed at 4.
Guy says he email airport and calls, I verify this information with airport they said no email was sent. Called my card company, no charges on cars not even a decline. Guy just brushed me off since it was close time instead of making sure I was helped. I had to spend another 1.5 hours calling corporate and customer service to get my booking. I'm sick of renting from this location with their piss poor Employee's. If it wasn't for the increase price to rent from airport I'd go there for my business travel. My company spends 1000's of dollars a year, I am executive elite and expect far better service than I received. I'll be filing another complaint as well...
Read moreIt's been a few years since reserving automobiles from 30th Street Station. I recently did so and was disappointed with a customer representative named "JOHN." Before I continue, I find that most communication issues surround delivery, not the message. My reservation was for 4 days, one of which I could not drive the vehicle due to a flood and evacuation in my neighborhood. My thought process was to get the car to a secure, flood free area and then concern myself with the issue at hand. A few days later, I secured a new reservation and contacted 30th Street, advocating for a partial credit on my new reservation. While JOHN explained that I could have returned the car on the day of the flood, his tone was condescending, unapologetic and repetitively articulated "what you did with the car is your business" (I'm protecting your vehicle) and refused any assistance. There used to be a group of individuals (that are no longer there) who were always polite, concerning, polished, upbeat and helpful anytime I had a less than a stellar reservation. I just located to philly and has a few things that wouldn't fit on the moving truck so I needed a larger suv. I remember as part of the emerald club I get to rent mid size car and then select anything I want to drive from the Emerald Isle. This benefit really paid off because the same size vehicle with all the competition was $50-75 more than I paid. Great deal but it gets better! I arrived and the front desk attendant was so nice and attentive. She heard me explain what the vehicle was for and immediately went to the larger size suv's as options without me even asking. I left the counter with a full understanding of where the cars were, how to return after hours and she even gave me her card in case I had more questions. Great deal and great job national!
