I always have an exceptional experience going to she sugars co. Mindy is amazing! My first appointment a few years ago Mindy sat down with me to explain how the hair grows, how it attaches to the blood supply, and that over time the hair becomes more sparse and thinner. I was extremely worried because I have very sensitive skin and I had an awful experience getting waxed. She assured me that sugaring is less invasive, the sugar is more of a body temperature, and she removes the hair with the natural way the hir grows. She is always so considerate of your needs, she makes you feel comfortable, she gives you a stress ball and breathing techniques throughout the service. She understands that you may feel vulnerable especially getting bikini or Brazilian waxes so she try’s to always keep you somewhat covered so you feel at ease and slowly goes about performing the services. She will check in with you to make sure you are doing ok and if you need a break. Also, her coworkers are also amazing! When Mindy was out on maternity leave I felt comfortable enough going to another sugarista (Domanique) because I trust Mindy’s judgement in who she would have working with her. I started coming here last year, and I just wanted to say hands down how much I LOVE THIS PLACE. The ambiance is so warm, welcoming, cozy, and extremely safe. All the ladies I’ve met at the front both times, were exceptionally welcoming. I LOVE Mindy, and there’s just an extra special aura she has when you meet her/speak with her. Her empathy, warmth, and compassion are out of this world, when it comes to making her client feel comfortable and safe for their sugaring session. She’s just so lovely on so many different wave lengths, and is really passionate about her craft. Mindy definitely goes above, and beyond, and knows how to make something which I used to think was scary, and nerve wrecking to an actual wholesome experience.
