DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Philadelphia

I visit this place once a year. I’m a big guy so this is one of the places that they choose to buy from but today’s experience wasn’t so great. The door was locked when we got there I can understand there may be security issues as a woman finally came and opened the door Said hello to her and didn’t get a response back. I understand the retail business is a hard business and she may have been on her own so I don’t hold it against her. This is just my experience when to shop found a few items. I liked their stores are always nicely organized along with some great ideas for matching clothing my only problem is I know nothing about clothes and it seemed everything. Here was priced so high they did offer some sales which I took advantage of. when I went to the counter, not much of a greeting from the same person which is fine she’s on her own. I get it. I told her one of the items was 30% off. She said no it’s not. I said yes it is it was on the rack and I thought the other one was 30% off which it was not so I caved in anyway she did try to help me find a matching shirt a little more price friendly but they didn’t have much I genuinely like this place. I don’t go here often because it’s a little bit out of my pocket range, I think three stars is fair based on value...

Expensive, but you get upscale service with the upscale DXL branding.

I've bought tons of clothing here, and the quality has usually been very good - especially the graphic tees and premium khaki dress pants. The selection is huge.

Their staff is awesome - always willing to take their time and show you things, suggest alternatives, fitting you for alterations, etc.

If you are thirsty, ask for a complimentary little bottle of water.

The DXL/Casual Male rewards program is pretty nice if you consistently buy from them, you get really nice perks like free alterations to certain items, discounts, and...

DXL is by far my favorite spot to shop for clothes, the service staff is very welcoming and helpful and the selection is really good for the size of the store BUT 35$ for 3 undershirts is a bit too much, I paid it because I needed them, but for undershirts and T-shirts’ amazon is a better financial decision, as far as their casual and everyday clothes I’m very happy, and they always have deals. Under garments need a price cut, if they were 20$ for 3 undershirts I would’ve given 5 stars...
