I'll definitely go again. The menu had lots of tasty sounding cocktails and food. Each each menu item had a little something extra, a sauce and a condiment that elevated the dish to a more complex flavor profile and added bolder flavors. I really appreciated that, the menu descriptions made everything sound great. It was hard to choose what to get. I had the pilgrim, turkey sandwich. Husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. I included a picture of the menu to read the ingredients. Also had the grapefruit vodka drink, it was refreshing, not too sweet... Gotta say it was kinda small. Husband got an IPA. The decor was very nice. A great blend of industrial and modern elements. Loved the wrap around picnic style bench. We sat on the outside and the day way perfect weather. The patio is dog friendly and we love dogs, so that was a win. Service was fast and friendly. I gave it 4 stars, took away one star because 5 stars is reserved for spectacular... And although my sandwich was tasty, it needed more sauce. Hubby's sandwich needed more blue cheese, my cocktail was small and the sweet potato fries I got as my side were a little soft, not as crispy as I'd like. Totally being picky not because I didn't like it, I did and I'd go again, but being extra descriptive for a complete honest review. I'll go back with my kids and my dogs and my friends, lots more menu items to try.

We visited on a Saturday at lunchtime. The place was very busy--their brunch is popular! We were told the massive outdoor patio had a 20-30 minute wait but indoor seating was immediate, so we chose the latter. We were seated at a nice booth. Our server came to take drink orders right away and checked on us at a good pace throughout our visit. We ordered the chips and guacamole, then on her next visit chose our meals. My son went with the side of fries, while I had the kale and pear salad with added chicken, and my husband chose the chicken and waffles. To our surprise, our entrees soon came out, not our appetizer. I mentioned that the chips and guac were MIA. About a minute later, a manager came over and apologized, saying the kitchen was pretty crazy at the time. Understandable. She said she'd make sure our bill was correct. About 10 minutes later, when we were halfway through our meals (which were universally delicious), we were surprised when a guy brought out the appetizer; we had to turn it away as the timing was lost, but I have to say it looked really good. As we finished up our meals, the manager came out again to make sure all was well and again apologized. Our check was indeed correct when it came out. We really appreciated the attentiveness of the management and how things were addressed. We left with a continued high opinion of OHSO.

Caterory: Elevated Comfort Food. The folks behind OHSO really know how to nail a wanna-be-there casual vibe, as they have done in spades at the Shea and Tatum location. The huge outdoor, well-shaded, Edison-bulb-illuminated, mini-palm-treed, mistered, dog-friendly, wicker-lanterned outdoor patio with its own big, rectangular, TV-dominated, well-worn wooden bar are all we need almost any night. There are also big tables with padded seats and picnic tables for groups. If you prefer non-fresco dining, the inside has its own cool and colorful vibe, with another big rectangular bar, padded booths and big, heavy wooden tables and a fully-on-display operating brewery. So of course the beer list is epic. But we're wine people and there were enough under-$50s to make us happy, and Sarah was made even happier by a cocktail suggested by the bartender, who gave us excellent service, both food and drink. The menu offers a wide selection of elevated comfort food. We shared the Steak & Fries starter (I recommend the smother-it-in-cheese-sauce option; otherwise it seems like too many fries) and the Savory Shrimp Taco Board. We'll be back, with the dogs next time. Chef's Apprentice YouTube and blog

Let me begin with I love OHSO. The food is fantastic, the drink selection is amazing, and the environment is unlike any others around it ( I mean who doesn't want to sit on a dog patio and admire all the pups while hanging out?!) However, the service at this location is always austondingly dissapointing. I celebrated my birthday with family here this past winter, with over 15 guests. We called ahead and reserved tables to ensure we had enough room for our guests. We needed about three tables out on the patio which, filled up about two and a half tables total. About half way through our stay we were told that we needed to give up our third table because it was 'not completely filled' leaving a few guests with standing room only. This came from the manager on duty directly, without any simpathy or reason as to why. I expressed I was dissapointed with that and was not even provided sympathy for the inconvenience. Then yesterday I accompanied some friends to watch the coyotes game at OHSO, which we were all excited for. I ordered the Green Chili Pork and advised my server I have a dairy allergy so it is important that there is no Cotija cheese on my order. She advised she would make sure there was no cheese. So when I receive my order she confirmed there was no cheese so I dug in. I began eating my food only to find a white, gooey layer of cheese on my plate that I had begun to eat. I told the server and she apologized and had my meal remade. When she brought the food back out, she advised that it was not cheese on my plate but the aioli spread that goes on top. The aioli was clearly a green color and did not even have the same gooey texture as melted cheese. It is already challenging enough to have an allergy to such a common food is an inconvinence to not only myself, but also the restaurants I go to and I understand that. I am just so dissapointed with the fact that despite the allergic reaction I was having the cook and server had the audacity to tell me I was wrong about my allergy and leave it at that, no follow up or anything. I guess that is asking too much. Time and time again I am so dissapointed with the service I recieve at this location, which is a shame because it is the closest location to me. It has come to the point where due to service alone I will be avoiding this OHSO lcoation. Be weary if you need any type of accommodation because it is handled so poorly time and time again, so if you need something along those lines, don't rely on...

I have come to this location a couple times with my friend and her husband. Each and every time there has been terrible customer service. This last visit, which was yesterday, was beyond the worse I have experienced. We asked for a table and the host rolled her eyes and stated it would be a 45 minute wait as there were no tables open, we decided to go to the outside bar. Walking through the place there were so many tables open it was mind blowing. Once, at the bar we were not greeted or asked anything, but thrown beer menus in front of us. Neither bartender said anything and just walked away. After about 15 minutes someone finally came to us and asked if we wanted something to drink. It took over 10 minutes to get 2 drinks and a water. We asked to order food and the bartender just walked away. We asked about 4 more times if we could order food before they stopped to help us. The food came out and tasted fine, but the bartenders didn’t ask one time how everything was, if they could get us anything else, etc. We wanted to order more drinks, once again ignored when glasses were completely empty for about 10 minutes. We asked for the check 3 times before someone even cared to bring the check, once the check was brought it disappeared with my card for over 15 minutes. While looking at the registered these bartenders were leaving cards sitting around unattended. I have worked in the industry for almost a decade and never had such terrible service. Just wait it gets better!

I asked a guy, who seemed like a manager, if he was a manager and if I could speak to one. His response in a rude tone “I guess I can be a manager, I know things.” Without even listening to the complaints we had, he brushed it off as if customer service didn’t mean anything. He never apologized and stated that it was just a mistake. The bartender who took my card, who didn’t say a single word all fricken night, comes rushing to set my card down and says “oops I forgot about it.” The Manager again, didn’t say anything but a rude tone of well this happens.

I am blown away with how terrible not only the staff is, but the management staff. I am a Manager myself and it’s 101 stuff to at least apologize. I didn’t want anything removed from the check or comped, but to be spoken to as if I don’t matter, I hope this place can get there act together since clearly they hire people who can’t function properly or speak to customers with respect. If I could leave negative...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting O.H.S.O. Brewery in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish! This brewery truly lives up to its reputation as a top-notch destination for beer enthusiasts.
