I’ve never been more humiliated in my life!!!! My daughter and I went to get our nails done. My daughter wanted to get French trap they are keep changing the price and try to charge her more …. Then the lady got frustrated and cut my daughter on 3 different places , explaining that her skin is so thin !!! Then she did horrible job on the French tip , we asked just for regular polish they got upset … . When the owner came she was so rude and said that my daughter is costing them so much time?? After they painted her nails they were not even when we asked of someone to fix them she got so upset and started screaming grab the nail clippers and cut my daughter’s nails … please don’t ever go there, they don’t care it’s all about money and get it done quickly!!! Just to answer the owner, my daughter didn't receive the service she wanted. She was cut several times and you guys kept telling her she was not able to do the design she wanted. She asked you fix her nails before she payed because they were crooked and all different sizes. You told her you did not want to waste time on her anymore and to get out of the salon. It's not that we did not want to pay. We had been coming to this salon on and off for several years and have ALWAYS paid and tipped our technicians. It's that I did not feel comfortable paying for nails that looked like they were done by someone still in beauty school. She just wanted them fixed before we paid. My friend and I went in here today to get manicures, my manicure took less then 10 minutes and while my polish was great I was charged for a regular manicure when what I received was an express, she claimed I received a massage but rubbing lotion on my skin for 9 seconds doesn't count as a massage. Sorry for $14 I'll paint my own nails! The man that did my friends manicure did a subpar job, didn't file her nails evenly and didn't even do the cuticles. When she complained about it he told the other lady to finish her, she had to file her own nails to get them even. My friend got a gel manicure and the lady couldn't even do a basic design and after 15 minutes of attempting my friend told her to forget it. They charged her $28 for some special gel when she really received the basic gel. I would never recommend this place to anyone and furthermore I will NEVER go back. I did express in a polite way my dissatisfaction about the service and they seemed to care less. I have been coming in here for the past year and absolutely love my nails every time, and I adore Yvette. The staff is friendly, they work really hard and especially Yvette always does my nails perfectly and exactly the way I ask her to. I don’t know why anyone would leave a bad review here, I see people saying they’ve been turned away or have to wait a bit, but that’s how ALL nail salons work. Obviously if the staff is overloaded, they can’t accommodate everyone every time. But they definitely do their best at Ashley’s - I have actually never personally witnessed them turn anyone away, and not be anything but kind (and I am here religiously every 3 weeks). They truly have great customer service and that’s saying a lot in the service industry today. In fact, Danny once called me ahead of my appointment to let me know they were running a bit behind.
