I also found the staff to be a bit curt and insincere on my first few visits. The vibe started out the same this last visit when suddenly a helpful person appeared and took care of me. She didn't announce herself as the owner until the very end of our exchange as I was walking out the door from spending well over $400. She had overheard me asking for my points to be added to my account from the last time I visited and their machine was down. At first, she came over to back up her employee who was enthusiastically citing store policy about coupon use on the next visit policy, blah blah while i tried to explain that the coupon was supposed to be issued to me the last time i was there if their machine wasn't broken, and that this would actually be my "next" visit. It was all very frustrating. I had my receipt, and she did apply the points, give me my coupon, etc. I also vented my frustration with their 10 item max in the dressing room, suggesting that it's nothing more than an inconvenience for people who want to avoid playing "swap stuff over the door" in order to try on a lot of items without redressing, rather than a shoplifting deterrent. To me, it creates more confusion allowing an increased opportunity for shoplifting while also suggesting that you don' t really want people to try on a bunch of stuff which sounds like you don't want to sell very many clothes. Just count how many items a person has going in and coming out and make sure they are equal and....you're done. Also, allow people who are together to share dressing rooms if they so desire, again, without a 10 item total max. People wouldn't have to come out to show their companion what they look like and your lines would be shorter . And, instead of policing a dumb rule, Your employees now have more time to work on team building in order to create a more positive work environment. it also might help with their enthusiasm if they aren't trying to enforce rules that they likely don't understand or agree with and that have no real purpose and waste their time. Owner seemed genuine, she should get her employees input on other things as well (they prob have good ideas) and work on some real customer-centered training--not just teaching the words to say, but creating a genuine happy environment. It is a teenager's clothing store after all. Good thing my kids LOVE the stuff they get from there or I probably wouldn't go. Still, there are other locations not owned by this owner where I spend more of my money for now. I think this place has potential. I will go back again and update...
Read moreI have been coming here since the day they opened and they were absolutely great the owners were wonderful the employees were wonderful but I have to say that the last half-dozen times I have come here I have not left happy the new employees they have are rude don't seem to want to work very hard and tonight I just left there and the boy that was working there was extremely snotty and rude totally lied to me they don't make you feel welcomed anymore and I don't think I'll be coming back. It's a shame cuz I really liked coming here. I don't like being treated like this. It was 10 minutes before they closed I literally had 4 things I was bringing in and they would not help me because they said the computers were already shut down. And because of computers were shut down they couldn't type anything in they can only ring people up I don't believe that at all I have never ever have anyone tell me that here before I think they all just wanted to go home and they didn't want to deal with another customer and unfortunately that's their job so if they don't like it they should probably find something else where they don't have customers to deal with. I wanted to see if they would take any of these four items and I was planning on buying a bracelet and one of the Kate Spade purses behind the counter and use any credit that I would have gotten towards that purchase but they blew me off and didn't have time to look at four items so I left and I did not buy anything from them I'll find it somewhere else cuz all they could do was recommend I go to Scottsdale cuz they're open later they were just extremely rude and I'm just not going back and it's sad because I really did like the owners. And it wasn't like they were busy. I worked retail before and I would never turn away a customer that only had 4 items to look at. That's just bad business they blew off a sale of a bracelet and Kate Spade purse cuz they were lazy. I sat in front of the store to write this and they spent a lot of time sitting and talking after they closed doing nothing. If I were the owner I would not want to pay them for sitting on my counter running...
Read moreMy sister and I went to this location to sell our clothes. In total we had 5 bags of things. We knew it would take a while to go through so we shopped while we waited. In between waiting we had run ins with multiple rude staff members. We asked multiple times to try on things in the dressing room. We were trying to by time for our clothes to be ready. We get to the register and The worker âCassyâ immediately had an issue with us. She gave us both bad looks and ended up throwing the money I was getting back from them after my sister asking a simple question of âcan I get my clothes backâ (the ones they didnât take) I guess that bothered her because after that she was extremely rude. I had turned to my sister and said âwhatâs her problem?â And she cassy had asked âdo you have a questionâ I said no. (Because no way am I going to argue with a Platoâs closet worker) So she then proceeded to turn around and roll her eyes, so then I said âI do have a question whatâs your bad attitude towards us for?â She got offensive and said âI donât have an attitudeâ I said you threw the money quickly back to me as well as the pen to sign the receipt and you also have gave us both horrible looks up and down while standing here. She proceeds to then say âdo you want me to hand your money back to you nicer next time?â I said âI do actuallyâ and she turned around gave us the bags. I then said â Thank you and I hope you have a better day then so farâ. We started to walk out and then all of the other staff proceeded to cackle as we were walking away and then yelled âI hope you have the day you deserve queensâ Let me just say the weirdest crew of staff Iâve seen in a long time. We had NO issue until the rude customer service we had from Cassy. We will not be returning or doing business from here again. We will also make sure our friends and family are aware of the type of behavior from the workers specifically Cassy at this location. If you are seeing this let me hold your hand when I say this⌠being mean looks real...
