I’ve been a regular at this location for 8 years, most of the baristas know me by name and the staff has always been so friendly. I spend an absurd amount of money here every month. Unfortunately, I had such an uncomfortable and embarrassing experience with the girl who was on the drive thru this morning, I’m switching locations. She must be somewhat newer there, big hair and a baby voice, no smile or warmth. Long story short, there was a mix up after she forgot to add the bottled water that I ordered, so I went back thinking I had already paid for the water bottles but didn’t receive them. She was quick to challenge me saying she remembered me and my order and I didn’t get any water. She asked me to present a receipt to prove it, but when I asked how to do that in the app she said she didn’t know. She insisted that I didn’t get water, so I finally conceded and asked her to just add it to this order. I found the receipt in the app later and realized that the bottles I ordered just didn’t get added. I left so embarrassed, like this girl thought I was trying to swindle the store out of $7 worth of bottled water. It wasn’t just the details of the situation, it was her combative, condescending demeanor. If I was the store manager I wouldn’t want her interacting with customers at all. There’s another new girl there who has super short hair and she is a sweetheart, super friendly, smart and great on the intercom. Please only let that girl on the drive thru, the other one is wrecking...
Read moreHi I haven't been a Starbucks for a couple years. I Don't agree with their politics, but that is my choice. They have the right to believe what they want. I don't even fault them for not having french roast or Italian when I used to go in. So I decided to try them again. WHAT I do have a problem with is on Christmas eve I called and talked to the person that I believe was in charge. I asked how late they would be open. I was told 7 pm which was great. It was supposed to stop raining before then. So I rode over my motorcycle(no car)around 4pm from another store near by. I was there for a total of 30 minutes when the person that I spoke with on the phone came out and told all of the customers that we had to leave because some of their staff was leaving. Did she not know this when I called at 3:30? So I'm out in the rain and either have to gear up and find another place or head home in the rain which was the whole reason I went to this Starbucks in the first place. Now for those of you who don't live in AZ. Driving in the rain here is incredibly hazardous, but that's another story. So without regard for their customers safety(which is usually not a 20 somethings concern anyway) or regard for showing a lack of integrity. Not only will I never go in a Starbucks again. I will never recommend or acknowledge that they exist. Yeah I know right. As if they...
Read moreTHEY DON’T ENFORCE MASK POLICY I’ve been coming to this Starbucks via the drive-thru since I moved to the area in Aug. I’ve never had a problem. However, this weekend I went on a Saturday morning walk with my wife and dog and we decided to stop here for a coffee and pastry. We made sure to bring our masks. I was very surprised to see that not just one, but two people in the store not wearing a mask. One person was sitting on the bench and o saw them walk around here and there (didn’t seem like a customer) and then another gentleman standing in the middle of everyone. There was a sign on the door stating that masks were required and I even saw masks sitting in a basket by the door. NOT ONE staff member at this store said a thing to either person for not wearing a mask, especially with so many guest in the lobby. That was all I needed to see. I will NOT be coming back to this location. If they enforces the rule, then I will protect my family and go elsewhere. Plus, there’s a new Starbucks on Mayo that just opened and it’s closer anyways. Definitely not going out of my way for...
