On May 5, the sign on the door Batteries + Bulbs said Technical difficulties and cash only on a piece of notebook paper. Before we saw that, my son-in-law (legally blind) had gone to the door and tried to open it to the shop. I was in the car and I told him that it said that they were open until 5 o’clock on Sunday. As my son-in-law was retrieving the piece of equipment that needed the battery from the car, the young man that was inside the building had come to the door, opened it up and picked up a brown paper bag filled with something ( I am assuming it was something to eat). The associate, then went back into the store and sat at a desk. My son-in-law was then at the door and began to knock, and knock, and knock, and knock. I finally got out of the car so I could see what was going on, and there sat the associate behind the desk completely ignoring us. In the meantime, two other people came to the store and were completely ignored also. After a short period of time, my son-in-law said, through the door, that he would just like to ask a question and again was completely ignored. As far as I am concerned, this company is not doing the right thing for their customers. All the young man would’ve had to do was come to the door, try to explain a little bit of why he’s not taking customers, and then answer a question or two. I will never come to your establishment again. The young man was extremely rude and actually was just using your establishment for an hourly wage because he was doing nothing to put a good face on your business. I am sorry that you hired someone so...
Read moreIf I could give this company a negative star I would. They are unreliable, the manager that I interacted with condescending and extremely disrespectful.
We were referred to theBatteries Plus through the insurance company for my husband’s phone. I took the phone in for the screen to be replaced, the tech told us it would take an hour. I went back after an hour and was told that they were not finished, they needed additional time. I went back later that evening and was told they could not get the phone to work and it needed to be seen by a senior technician and I would have to come back the following day.
The following day the manager on duty told us that they could not get the phone to work and they needed to order a new battery. This was only the beginning of my back and forth with this company. After numerous calls and visits to the store, It took over two weeks for us to get the phone back. The manager at one point threatened to call the police on my husband because he raise his voice at her- this after repeatedly explaining that this was his work phone and repeatedly being Given different times that the device would be available.
This company made an error and instead of trying to make it right with us, they were indifferent, disrespectful and did not care about how their negligence impacted us. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT TRUST...
Read moreI called ahead before making my purchase online and the guy (manager, very tall, skinny with brown hair) over the phone acted as if he knew what he was talking about when he said he could install my battery in my car. It took him over an hour to change my battery and even cut himself, he had to get another associate to change my battery for him. Had to keep going inside the store at least 8 times while i waited outside by my car to get the battery changed. He even charged me an additional $50 to register my battery to my car because he said if he didn't then my battery wouldn't work in my car. He also did not know how to change the settings on my car to show that my battery does not need to be changed and that I would have to go to a BMW dealership for them to change that. I drive a 2010 328i BMW and I could have gone somewhere else at a European mechanic shop for the same price that I paid for my car battery which after the $50 to register my battery it ended up being a total of about $300. Sadly I wont recommend this store to get your battery changed out. I was really nervous while he was installing the battery because he literally had no idea how to change a battery from a BMW and did not even know that the battery is in the trunk of the car. I think the man is uneducated in cars and I would really like my dash to not show that I need to have my battery...
