Uh, not sure what to say. The girl who came up to our table seemed polite but seemed to have an attitude. She didn't know the menu and kept going back to shout out to the girls in the back if the can serve certain menu items or not. Told me, she doesn't think they serve wheat bread when I know they do. I'm glad she left. We were left alone for a while after someone else brought our food, no one checked on us until we ate half of our meal. Finally had another lady come up, apologize for us not being attended to, told us they were short staffed and was very kind, well mannered and got us everything we needed. The hashbrowns tasted like they've been frozen for a while. I asked for a poached eggs and they brought me a cooked egg, looked like it was cooked for about 8-10 min not 3-4. I'm so happy that young teenager left and didn't serve us, she had barely any training it seemed, pretty bad manners. She was asked, '... so this meal comes with toast?' Her response was, 'yes it does, it says it on the menu there, so yes it comes with toast' she has a serious, sarcastic, confident face expression. The food was OK, cheep. Glad the nice second server came, otherwise, my kind, friendly, goofy, joking me would have turned into that sarcastic overconfident teanager face. There were about 4-5 tables total being served we came between 1-3 during their supposedly quiet time after lunch hour. One other gentleman came up, walked halfway across the restaurant asking where their food was. I really hope they get their act together. Don't know how they stay in business they way they ran everything that day. People must really appreciate cheep fast food served slowly through a server. Their French toast was good, I really enjoy it. The BLT sandwich is good!...
Read moreWould give a zero if able. We arrived this morning and were promptly seated. That was the last decent thing that happened. A group that was seated several minutes after us received their food so I asked what the delay was with ours since we had already waited 20 minutes. When it arrived the food was cold except for my husbands because his wasn't brought with the rest of the order. Two our three guests received cold pancakes but declined to comment while the other received cold waffles and said nothing as well even though the butter she asked for extra would not even melt. My french toast was cold so I asked them to please warm them up because I am not going to accept cold food. I came in for a hot meal Thank you. A minute or so after mine went back my husbands arrived. It was the only warm meal (barely) and was supposed to be a steak omelet but was more like a hash brown stuff omelet. He had three small pieces of what was supposed to be steak. When they brought back my order for the second time the French toast was cold again. I could not believe it. The waitress seemed surprised as well but you think she would have checked. She took it back again and by the time she came back everyone was done eating so I told her to just forget it. She came back with the check and said "since I did not eat anything she took the French toast off my bill". Really! Wow how nice of them to offer that after three attempts and over an hour of waiting. But we did get seated quickly.... We will...
Read moreI took my son to sky zone and came here to eat afterwards. I was pleased to see the parking lot was relatively empty for a Saturday at 10am! I walk in and the place is literally half full. A woman walks up to me while trying to scratch her scalp through her soiled wig with inch long finger nails, looking like she just rolled out out of bed. It'll be a 15 minute wait she barked. No "Hi welcome to IHOP". Just a lethargic I don't want to be here look on her face.
I stood there stunned at the manner in which I was addressed, wondering why management would hire someone who had not washed their wig in 8 months to work in a place that served food, and also wondering why there is a 15 minute wait if the dining room is empty and I am the only one in the waiting area. The hostess walks away without another words as another employee walks up. Ms. Soiled wig says "She can't figure out if she wanna leave her name". The other woman; this one with orange and green hair reiterated the 15 minute wait. I guess that was my cue that I probably should not eat at such an establishment and certainly not feed their slop to my 2 year old son. I left and went to the...
