I wanted to take a moment to express how enormously impressed I was with the outstanding service I received at DXL Big and Tall.

My experience began with the Greenville, SC store, where I spoke with Anthony about a pair of dress slacks I saw online. Anthony was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He went above and beyond by locating the exact slacks I wanted at the Pineville, NC location—closer to me—and provided the store’s contact information.

When I called the Pineville store, I had the pleasure of speaking with Paige. She was friendly, courteous, and attentive. After I explained what I was looking for, she immediately pulled the dress slacks in the sizes and colors I needed, preparing for my visit.

When I arrived at the store, Paige greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. She guided me to the fitting room and continued assisting me as I tried on several options. Her customer service was top-tier.

I also want to commend the store’s presentation—clean, well-organized, and stocked with great merchandise. The atmosphere was relaxed, upbeat, and inviting. Before leaving, I met the manager on duty, Vicki, who was just as pleasant and supportive. I shared my appreciation for Paige’s excellent service, and it was clear that the team at DXL Pineville works well together.

Overall, I had an exceptional experience at both locations. Thank you to Anthony, Paige, Vicki, and the DXL team for delivering the kind of service that truly stands out.

Highly disgusted with my experience today at DXL. I have a wedding to go to today 08/30/2025 as I was invited last minute and only had long sleeve dress shirts and with where the wedding was going to be at I wanted to wear short sleeve. So I visited my local DXL in Pineville NC Got there right as they opened and walked in and started looking around I asked the lady working there where could I find the short sleeve dress shirts and she says and I'm quoting her words (we dont have any) i said ok and she told me they had some long sleeves and I told her I'm not looking for long sleeves and that I'm going to a wedding and with where the location is I wanted short sleeves. I'm a big guy and when I get hot a sweat alot so i would rather have short sleeve. She then says (short sleeves are for babys) I turned a left with out saying a word. Yes I know the comment seemed so little but I found the comment to be very rude. You work at a store where most people are coming in are already self-conscious about their size and thats the professionalism you get ??? I wish I got her name but didn't and I'm sorry DXL I used to shop and your store but as of today I more then likely will never return or buy anything from DXL...

Visited this location this morning to purchase a couple dress shirts and pick up some clothes for an upcoming trip. The representative who greeted me as I walked in immediately began suggesting items and started measuring me without giving me a chance to really speak. I attempted several times to get her to slow down and allow me to ask a question (to slow her down) or to just let me browse (which is what I intended to do). I was trying to let her know I would ask for her help when I was ready (if or when I had a question). Unfortunately I could not get to that point as she continued to press through taking measurements on me even as I resisted and aggressively insisting I try something on (I had not had a chance to even look at the item smh). In the end I had to just leave without being able to browse or make a purchase.

I know she was just trying to be helpful, but the help she was offering was unsolicited, uninvited, and unnecessary. I gave her several verbal and non verbal clues that the way she was approaching me was not appreciated and gave her the opportunity to back off for a moment. This didn’t happened. So I didn’t get the clothes I needed and DXL did not get the sell.
